Food was really good (especially the naan), staff very friendly and were able to give us plenty of vegetarian options. Close to the highway. Good transit stop.

One of the best restaurants in town. Staff always go out of their way to accomodate their customers. HIGHLY recommended. (Take the Butter chicken with 1x Naan, you will not regret it)

Not even worth the 1 star ...been to Indian restaurants around the world ...this has the distinction of been the worse ..BY FAR !!!!...so bad I dont even know where to start ...so I wont ...only to say that our host who took us there felt that he had to apologized for the disastrous experience !!!

Highly recommended. Consistently great food at good value, with polite and attentive service, in a lovely old Victorian house. The teeniest critique/suggestion is that the otherwise excellent dining experience would be greatly enhanced if the current somber and heavily muted playlist (70s Richard Clayderman tunes & Ave Maria instrumental track etc...) could make way for some slightly more upbeat and authentic Indian music, (even it is a more contemporary/neutral/instrumental/non-polorizng selection), and that the background music could be a notch or five louder so your table conversation does not have to be so whispered. I remain a great fan of this restaurant though :-)

I have visited here before and my previous experience was great. I was quite curious to see if the could maintain their standards. I was pleasantly surprised. It was even better than before. As I lover of Indian food I can definitely recommend this. It was a Sunday buffet @ R99 per person. It is a steal! The food was well prepared and fresh. The service was really good and the atmosphere is one of simplicity and conducive to conversing with friends. The owner was really friendly and took time off to explain the dishes to us. I will definitely return soon.

Very nice cute little Indian food restaurant. The venue was converted from an old Dutch-style townhouse so it has that warm vibey house character to it. The flavourful food and friendly staff complements the atmosphere well.

Proper Indian food in the heart of the Heidelberg town. Food is tasty but service is a bit slow with the English language a bit lacking with staff. Might help if they were slightly friendlier as well. Haven’t tried their buffet yet but the Menu is large with lots of options to suit most tastes. Best place to get a Bunny Chow in town

Quality traditional food

A great Pakistani restaurant with very good Indian foods. The decor is up to date and the restaurant itself is in a converted old house dating back to the 1950’s with pressed ceilings and wooden floors. They have a warm fireplace that gets lit in winter and a piano in the foyer in case anyone wants to play. The food itself is magnificent and the portions are large. We will most often have takeaways which is adequate for lunch the next day. The service has always been friendly and a smile and a joke from the waiters. The cosy atmosphere is good for couples, but spacious enough to accommodate a large crowd. Buffet served on Sunday.

The food is good but the main dish is a bit scrawny. They use a good cost saving technique used in catering I always look out for by them providing ample less expensive starters e.g. bread/ doe based dishes with a low cost cheese backup. By the time you get to the mains your worst hunger is addressed. You firstly get loaded with plenty of carbs and dairy proteins and then finished off with lesser meat protein based dishes.
