Love love this place. Succulent heaven.You will either love this place or see no interest in it. I spent hours looking at all the succulents. Will be back to buy more. Johan is amazing, and very willing to share his knowledge.

Lovely, quirky, little place to stay overnight. Everything was clean and neat and in working order. We received a map of the town with suggestions for restaurants on arrival and a call later the afternoon to tell us there would be load-shedding later that night and that we could pick up a lamp at the office. There is aircon in the main room which was a blessing. Even though it is nothing fancy I definitely would recommend Obesa.

If youre partial to cacti, this place is amazing - filled with huge cacti and across the street is the Obesa nursery and garden you can visit. Even better, if youre partial to cats, this place will guaranteed get you some furry friends to cuddle. Loved my stay, would definitely stay here again.

It was nice staying at this amazing place, very clean, quiet and friendly staff and owners Sonja, she was very friendly gave me one of the few limited edition Graaff Reinet history books to read. The place was very close to where my clients stayed, I would definitely recommend it to everyone I know. Will book it again.

We enjoyed our stay at Obesa. They are conveniently located, allowing one to visit a number of places of interest on foot. The rooms are spotless and reasonably priced. I will stay there again when visiting Graaf Reinet.
