We had a quick pitstop here on the way to CT..the rooms are lovely and spacious..the staff friendly and the water was wonderful..hot and loads of pressure...really important...as it was so cold...oh yes..and electric blanket... Was great...

An unexpected surprise: I know Karoopark Guest house as an excellent establishment, but never knew it has a wonderful and relaxed restaurant that is open on Sundays , as well.

We stayed in the honeymoon suite and we absolutely loved it. Reception stayed up a bit late for us because the drive took a bit longer than expected. The room was huge, the bed comfy, and we enjoyed being able to bath after facing the Cape Town drought. Breakfast was yummy, with a good choice of cereals and a choice of what to include with your hot meal (definitely try the hash browns). Wed stay here again of we were coming back.

One of the best guesthouses Ive ever had the privilege of lodging in, the rooms are gorgeous and the area is so quiet and relaxed. The swimming pool makes for a great place to relax after a long drive. The facilities are exquisite and the bar is affordable.The food that we received from a great menu was not only phenomenal but also just simply gorgeous to look at. 10/10. I recommend this to anyone who needs a place to rest while driving through.

They turn at 10 to 7 in the morning the electricity off and it was so hot. It was not load shedding. They advertised the room for R700 and on arrival itt was R1000.

Lovely big rooms in a historical town. Service was fine and the price was ok. The location is really great.

Old building, but nicely painted. Lots of secure parking and the swim in the 39 degrees heat was excellent. Only negative was the shower 🚿 tap, which was not working properly.

This place just amazed me. From the outside it looks small but once you enter its like another world. The staff are friendly and the food is awesome.

I cannot praise all the team here enough reception, bar staff, restaurant and cleaning ladies and ground staff were ALL so welcoming and friendly. The establishment has a mixture of oldyworldy charm and modern outside areas around the pool. Our accommodation was so spacious with its own little kitchen which was well equipped. A lovely base to use for a trip to Nieu Bethesda.

Very bad experience. The room cost me R800 yet it was too small, no breakfast, bed had protruding wires, small mirror that showed only the upper part of my face, dirty shower floor....

Its very bad and poor. You will book and dont find them when u come to check in. Its a very doggy bnb. If u want to be safe try another bnb.

Great stay

Rooms were cozy, old fashioned but with fitted air conditioning, a fridge, tv and fans. Bathrooms were large. Dinner served was delicious and staff were incredibly friendly. Definently recommended!

The pics is a bit confuzing. I might have stayed in a staff corters. My room was small. smelling. shower not proper. water on floor. Next to a door. People in and out. Dont even think they stay there. Not feeling safe with the lock not working properly. Car door was scratch. only saw it when I fillrd up my tank. Nope, a no return fir me. Thanks. Hope y dont have star grading. That would be the pitts.

Excellent experience! For an extra R100 compared to its neighbors, this is the one to stop at, the entrance waiting room resembles a library and after dinner aperitif area, great to just relax in, much like the full bar in a 19th century style has charm and is quite hospitable, old school refinery. There are cottages surrounding the pool area, and in front more traditional stoop facing the street accommodation. lovely! The rooms are huge with high ceilings, antique furniture and very clean. All the usual amenities are available Tv, electric blanket, kettle etc. The restaurant is a la carte and resembles fine dinning without the shirt and tie, or having to pull her chair out. Try the springbok steak or ask for a group set menu, great after an excursion to the national parks treasured view two roads up. Plenty secure parking for your vehicle, whatever the size. Oh and very hospitable, ask the owner about the areas history... Very interesting just like the building built in 1818. Ill be back great value!

We got move from a room that was booked for us to another room nor did the two rooms have a little fridge or microwave so how on earth do we had to keep our milk and stuff fresh, in the reception office a lot of walking if you want milk.
