100 % Agave - made from the roots of South Africa, inspired by Mexican Mezcal - this has to be my favourite drink. I used to opt for the Reposado, basing my knowledge (or lack thereof) of tequila on what I thought I enjoyed, but gees the Blanco has stolen my heart...

Before trying Leonista Id always associated drinking Tequila with a hangover! Its now my drink of choice whether its a chilled night in or celebrating with friends. An absolute must to try especially as the next day wont be a total right off!

I found Leonista in September at La Rosa, Monte Casino. My boyfriend and I went there to celebrate my birthday. We are both massive tequila lovers and we decided to try something new! We found Leonista and had to try each of the 3 variations. They were all incredible. Smoky and full of depth and flavor, just like a great whisky. Instantly we knew we had found something new, and I would never be able to think of tequila the same way again.This lead to a 5 month hunt to get my hands on my own bottle! I finally got one at Norman Goodfellows in Kyalami.Leonista has changed how i viewed tequila, and now enjoy an ice cold glass at my leisure!I recommend Leonitsa to all my friends and family.

Jose Cuervo should better watch out because this amazing South African brand gave me the kick on the palate that I desperately needed!I cannot wait to try it out again and as the Mexicans would say before they would take a tequila shot: Arrriba, abajo, al centro y padentro! (glasses up, glasses down, glasses in the middle and gulp it down!)

Tequila was never my drink of choice, but Leonistas 100% Agave have changed all of that
