The best OB by far - tops on service - no long waiting for your meal - the tastiest softest calamari and awesome food well prepared 👌🏼

The fish, rice and chips was good as always.We ordered Spinach and Butternut as an extra extraWe also asked for our food to be served on plates and not metal pans.The food arrived in metal pans and we asked for it to be transferred to plates.The plates were coldThe vegetables ice old.We had to ask for the bread rolls as a basket was placed on the table without the bread rolls.I feel it is unacceptable to pay for items that is inedible and to be happy with a simple so sorry.They will never see my business again.

We ordered a platter for two, which I find is a nice way to judge most of what is served and how its prepared. It was very good, the chips were really nice, crispy outside and soft inside. Fired calamari was great and the hake was very succulent and soft. Same with the mussels, none were tough or had the odd broken pieces of shell. All round very good, but I am a little concerned at the prices these days but seems its going to be a regular thing as All prices increase. Anyway, great job, fast and good service 👍

The food was fresh and well prepared the service was fast and efficient, no long waiting periods for meals, we usually go to the Summerstrand one for the view, but I would definitely return and recommend the Baywest one.

The food tasted old and tough. Even the chips tasted stale. The prawns werent cleaned properly. Luckily the dragon rolls saved the meal since that was delicious.

More than a month ago they got my order wrong through Mr D. Sent me rice instead of chips, nothing major. Anyway manager called and apologized. Went to pick up a takeaway and they made up for a mistake that happened so long ago by giving me something extra, great service, and the food is really good.

The food that was delivered did not adhere to Covid-19 protocols, when I called to complain roelf on the phone was so arrogant. The food was practically ice cold also its the 2nd time this week this occurred and I will never eat from there again.

Ordered a platter for one . Normally used to good quality food from OB but this time I was really disappointed. Calamari was good but rice was not cooked properly .. prawns was Def salty and both prawns and fish was not da freshest . Meal not up to standard .

Worst service ever was there Saturday the 2nd of October. Sat down with my family got our menu waited for a waiter for more than a half hour asked for assistance still now one came. Ended up leaving. Waisted almost a hour!

Very disappointing meal at Ocean Basket Baywest today. Freshness of the calamari was questionable, prawns were dry, fish was edible but tasteless and rice was a tasteless mush. Milkshakes were over flavoured (with concentrate) to the point if being undrinkable. When my husband asked what happened to the rice the waitrons both giggled saying it had been overcooked. Worst Ocean Basket meal ever.

WHAT A WASTE OF R500, THE SUSHI WAS WARM AND TASTELESS. IVE NEVER HAD SUCH BAD SUSHI IN MY LIFE.

Food below standard, rice at least 2 days old. Only fried fish was up to scratch

A meal to forget. Grilled fish burned at the bottom and like rubber. Salad minute and full of onion and peppers. Absolutely no lettuce.Tiny rolls were nice. On the whole not worth the money. Menus grubby and seating soiled.

Terrible service. Both manger and waiters/waitress playing on cellphones, waitress had to come back 3 times about 1 starter. No wonder out of all those tables there where only 2 tables with clients.Definitely wont be going there again.

Portions very small. It looks like they count the number of chips they give you in your meal. Also very expensive. Cannot recommend.
