Good experience overall. Unfortunately, the Woolworths food stores in the area came compare to that of Johannesburg, but they have all the essentials plus a reasonable collection of other food items. There were some products I could not find as they dont stock locally. Its not a train smash, however, as most of the items have alternatives or similar. There is good security presence in and around the store, which is an added bonus. Also, the queues, although not short, moved fairly briskly which was great. The clothing options are also great, and with current specials makes it more appealing.

Sad to say its the slowest Woolworths customer service department Ive ever visited. There seems to always be a (very slow moving) line no matter what time of the day pr week you visit. And customers have to wait very long for queries to be resolved.☹️

Although this stores products are always of high standard, my teller in the express lane today(between 12:30 and 1pm) left much to be desired. She spent all her time speaking to a colleague and not addressing me. And to top it all, I had to ask for a bag three times and only when she asked me whether I wanted one, did I obtain a bag. Please Woolworths pull up your socks, she should be retrained.

Not my go to store, usually only visit if I need something and I dont want to runaround. One tends to see only security and personal behind the tills.

The staff here is a solutely top notch, very friendly, helpful, patient and non intrusive. The store is big and has a very good selection of items, very clean as youd expect from a Woolworths store and is in a very great location and mall.

The car wash place there give bad service dont go there dont get service paid for.

A very well stocked Woolworths in Walmer Park in the city of Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) . I dashed in to get gluten free pasta which they had in stock . They have well stocked food selection as well as clothing section.

Its all in one shop , good service n staff.

I am usually an avid woolies supporter and really enjoy their Walmer Park branch. Unfortunately today I was harassed by a sales lady in the beauty section after stating I was just browsing. She would not leave me alone! When it came time to ring up 2 items I had chosen I saw her run over and speak to the cashier and figured there was no harm in her collecting commission. At the point of paying I realised she had added two pricey items (R900 approx.) to my purchases behind my back and disappeared again.At this point customer service fell apart as it seemed like a huge effort to have to find a manager who could assist in voiding the items. I got the weakest apology. I wonder how many people have been caught out?

The best “Flat White” I’ve ever tasted (picture below). Woolworths Cafe must rate as one of the best eating venues in South Africa where the emphasis on quality is evident and consistent at each of the stores.

Chai Latte was excellent. Hard to beat.Eggs Benedict Hollandaise Sauce needed work and Poached Eggs were hard because I wasnt asked how I wanted them. Eggs were replaced within 30 seconds and the meal was still enjoyable. Would eat again.

Services offered by their staff is prompt, food and efficient. Shelves were well merchandised and near and tidy. They shop is always clean

Please have packers in food shop wear identification tags indicating this. I can save so much energy explaining the difference between dried mushrooms and fresh mushrooms. One of numerous situations. Have someone in the store wearing identification showing knowledge of food stuff.
