I stand by the entrance waiting for someone to assist me but no one did until I make my way inside and look for a table myself and I found out it was full and I went back to my car and grove to Angelos in Summerstrand where they know how to take care of customers 👎will never go there again

The waiter was great. Service was fast and friendly. Food was so tasty perfectly prepared. Chips were the best Ive had in a while and mushroom sauce Im going to dream about.

Place is clean. Food is wonderful. Service is good. Just have to apologise to the waitress who was looking after us; we confused and overwhelmed her. But her service was great. Would definitely go back over and over again.

Celebrated my friends birthday over dinner and it was beautiful. Service from the managers was very good. They did however, take almost to an hour to bring our food out. Maybe yall can look into managing bigger tables , even though we were like 8, a bit faster. Otherwise the food was amazing and definitely more than enough.Thank you!

Five stars because it is king around Walmer area. Angelos hygiene is unparalleled and the menu is incredible. We hold a lot of our year end dinners and business meetings At Angelos and we will continue having it as our venue of choice.

Food is good and well priced, service is terrible

Absolutely poor, if not ,non existant service. The servers just looked at our table of 4 while having a conversation among themselves. We were left unattended for at least 15minutes. We asked for assistance and were told that someone would attend to us. Unfortunately their conversation continued while they glanced at us. After still no service, We asked to speak to the manager, who also did not appear. We left with a very poor impression of Angelos. We went to a restaurant down the road and received immediate excellent service and great tasting food .

Service slow but good food

I enjoyed my full breakfast with juice for only R59. The service was quick and food arrived as ordered. Thanks Angelos will be back for more. Thanks for the hot water with lemon and honey. It really helped with my cold.

Service very slow, meat was burnt but raw, no taste, jus a lot of sauce thrown on top. Onion rings were raw and tasteless.

Welcoming atmosphere. Friendly staff. The berry fruit shake was delicious! I highly recommend it. Friday fish special is well worth it. Large portions, value for money, looks good and tastes great.

Firstly we waited forever to be attended to after having been booked... Secondly the toilets were an absolute mess /filthy. Then the food only arrived 1 and half hours after being ordered.... No Covid protocol observed.... Way too few waitress / waiters.... I must be honest we were sorely disappointed... And we used to frequent there but after today? .......Sorry bad experience and that on a Mothers day....

We had a Sunday lunch with a few friends and the food was absolutely DELICIOUS and the portions were BIG!!! Loved dining here and we also served by a great waitor

Lovely place really loved the atmosphere. We went just after 6pm on Saturday, firstly we waited for a while to be seated while there were a few empty tables had to go and ask for a waiter/waitress as no one was attending our table. The food was great no complaints, drinks 🙆‍♀️ they couldnt make a mojito they were out of something and then apparently the barman had left so whoever was left couldnt make Jager bomb we had to opt for something else. Will give it another try hopefully the service will be better.

Food was good. Prices have become quite steep - not the value for money place it was and is also looking a bit shabby. Could really of done with some fans on the deck today. Waitress was friendly and helpful.Think when times are good again a little makeover and couple of industrial fans would do wonders.

The food was cold, ribs are hard and dry, waitress takes longer time to serve even a simple drink🍺, the order was short had to wait even longer than anticipated 🙄😒🙄😒😢. Food is basically tasteless

Service extremely slow to non existent. Waited 20 minutes without any waitress/ waiter. Requested one and waited another 10 minutes to no avail. Asked to see the manager who never appeared. This was when the restaurant was not busy. Apparently other patrons had the same / similar experience.

Great little spot for great quantity of food! The waiterer was truly average and everything was done with an attitude. Still give 5star given the great food that they always give! Prices are average. Additionally, parking is an issue when the restaurant is busy

I loved every minute of being here. The restuarant, the service and the company I was with 👌It was my first time visiting and I must say. It became a favourite, I wouldnt mind a repeat performance.Transport wise I think it would be best to bolt/didi/uber or utilise your own vehicle. I didnt see any taxis or buses. Might have been far from the main road 🤷‍♀️The building captivates you from the outside so you know the interior will do wonders and I must say it didnt disappoint. The service was wonderful, the food delicious and the wifi was strong 😁The only thing that let me down was the bathrooms. Only 2 stalls and the space is very small to maneuver but Ill forgive this as the rest of the above mentioned factors made up for that slight .

Since the new management this place has changed completely. Not from the area and can see the big change. Mother in law was Laughed at cause she ordered two servings of food. By both different waiters and manager batted less than an eyelash when we complained about how rude it was. Wont go there again.

Walking into one of PEs restaurants I expected to find really good service. I was so disappointed. The floor needs to be resurfaced as it looks filthy dirty. I waited 40 min for my food which is about 20 min too long. The restaurant was empty. I guess 7 pm on a Friday night is not peak hour? The table next to me was not cleaned from the time I walked in to the time I left. Angelos can be a really stunning restaurant but its currently on the slippery slope due to bad service. What a shame.

Everytime am here, it takes forever for the order to arrive. It seems as if they are underStuffed or they are ill prepared for the sunday rush. You must be really patient here peps. Rather go to SUMMERSTRAND their service is very fast compared to the one in Walmer. Trust me.

Family friendly with more family orientated customers coming in with children than before bcs no alcohol is sold making it more family friendly and safe. Loved it.

Service was extremely poor. They Need to seriously consider investing in a hostess. There were multiple tables available however it felt like we were on a waiting list. After finally being seated the menus failed to arrive. Was really looking forward to the pasta and grill. I dont know if its poor management or what, but something seriously needs to be done.

If you are into an hour or more wait for your food and when it does arrive it is cold, then maybe this is the place for you. The Monday special not available as they had no ribs. Wine brought to table but open and pour yourself. Onion rings inedible bitter/sour. Returned and was offered a new portion with the same ugly taste. Not a pleasant dining experience. Highly unrecomended.

The car gaurd just took a Piss right in front of my car, never answer their phone if you try order. This is why I stay away but food is great will say that is fact.

Great food with decent size portions. Prices are very good, especially for their lunch and breakfast menu.

Staff is always friendly. Food is always yummy. I cant complain about food taste or price or service. When its hot, its nice to sit outside. I like the wine and coffee too. So if you just want a coffee or a full meal. Its an easy favourite.

This was the most horrific service I have ever received

My review has changed from 4 stars to a miserable 1 star, and that just in the space of 2 years!Service slow and very clueless about their own menu items, and the food overpriced and in the case of the meats also overcookedWill not be going to this particular angelos again, or any angelos for the foreseeable future.

They took more than 30 minutes to attend to me in a way that I had to call a manager to be attended to. Even to place an order it was another 30 minutes again.

Waited almost 2 hours for a simple shwarma despite the fact that the restaurant was not too busy. Food was okay but unimaginative, the milkshakes are delightful though. Certain items prices randomly differ between breakfast and lunch.
