I am actually happy that the Lighthouses remains as is while they are changing the Boardwalk into a mall (A tad bit unnecessary in my opinion) but the Lighthouses is where I witnessed the South African Rugby Team win the world Cup in 2019. So yes, it a nice place to have a relaxed day, play pool or bowling 🎳, have a couple of drinks and enjoy you spare time. Definitely my place to forget about the world. 🌹🏆

Could sell some snacks,but overall a chilled place to shoot some pool aswell watch sports and listening to some music and have drinks aswell.

It was my first time and I won by a lot, against 3 professional bowlers. Thats just how amazing I am.

Lovely entertainment for friends and family. The lanes are a bit scew and the pins did not always come out right and would sometimes fall over even if we did not start playing yet. Overall it has a nice atmosphere and there is a bar where you can get a few drinks.

The staff here is always very warm and welcoming. Everyone is forthcoming with information and assisting guests/clients. It gets rowdy at night especially on weekends. During the day its not completely quiet but its not as packed, hardly filled to even half capacity during the day.

At firts when we choose our first lane the lane was completely broken and confused pins would fall down on it own but after talking to the assistant they happily changed our lanes to a better one for a great experience

A decent place to go bowling and play pool however some of the pool tables tend to get stuck alot and it can sometimes become annoying. However if you dont mind the odd trouble. Its a wonderful place to grab a tower of beer and enjoy your afternoon watching some of the latest sport games.

A great place for indoor games. Cool and safe environment.

The place is very chilled. Its the perfect place to go and unwind with the boys or for a date. There is a lot of pool tables and also ten pin balling. You can also watch sport games on the big screen there. The ten pin balling is located outside the bar and smoking area. This means its also a great family outing day for some fun.

The bar is good, the games are good too. Best place to take your friends and/or family.

Good family entertainment. Building and bowling lanes are taking strain and some need urgent maintenance but over all good family fun.

Bowling is not particularly my favourite pastime, but it was fun to get out and spend time with the family. With the Boardwalk only 50 metres away for a quick supper takeway and then a walk to Shark Rock pier at Hobie Beach, it was a good enough evening out. Tickets are R43 per game, so not the cheapest half an hours entertainment. They do offer good deals for students during the week though at R18 a game.

This is one of the staple tenpin places in PE, providing joy to thousands for many years. We had a few minor issues with our lane and were not delayed for too long and it did not detract from the fun. Staff are friendly and considerate.

Great place to grab a cold one..there are alot of pool tables so also a great place to chill with friends and play pool. Theres also a bowling alley in the building....no need to explain how fun that is...less than 100m from the ocean and a great place to watch your favorite sport (soccer,rugby,cricket...etc) via the two projectors they have in the venue

Not going to lie... Should definitely head over to the lighthouse at the boardwalk and play some bowling with mates after a lecture. Not only is it loads of fun hut students get a discount too.

Perfect place for bondind but Im usually there with the boys to watch a game and crack a few cold ones. awesome vibes all round

So its a sports/ pool bar, so very chilled. On Thursday nights they have student social Thursdays where theres beer pong, 30 seconds and other fun games for students. Ive never regretted coming here. My fave

The wood in the bowling lanes needs to be maintained! The mechanism that places & cleans the bowling pins that have fallen also needs some maintenance. Ive played in more than one lane where the pins are placed by the mechanism & then some fall before Ive even bowled & after Ive bowled it would also clean/sweep away some of the pins that didnt fall.😐 It is an intermittent occurrence that impacts the final score.Please play music regularly as the atmosphere is way better when there is music.

Good place for tenpin bowling even though we were told to return after 1hour. The pricing is fair compared to other places. As for the bar side, normally free to enter however I have noticed during busy times (December) or big sporting matches, a door fee is introduced however on other days its free to enter.

The bowling alley is alright. Needs a bit of maintenance though and not all the lanes were open and this was in peak season so we had to wait for an hour. Most of the bowls are a bit old and chipped but despite this it is stil a fun experience. Best part is the ability to buy alcoholic beverages and have it at the bowling table.
