Always a pleasant time here at beershack. Good music, great home brewed beers and delicious food! There are specifically two staff members who are absolutely amazing and so friendly. I cant think of a time where by this place has let me down. 🤙

A fantastic venue with great food and drinks. Unfortunately, patrons who want to get away from cigarette smoke need to sit inside the venue, away from the sea view.

A lively place with a good atmosphere. Depending on the day, there are different predominant age groups that attend. Was recently there on a week night with a good mix of people. Nice selection of drinks but not all the beers are always available. Happy hour is from 5-6pm. One of the few options left for a more lively night out in PE

The decor is absolutely stunning, lovely atmosphere to experience. Great cocktails and beers and their food is pretty good too especially their pizzas. It gets extremely crowded at night and they start charging an entrance fee. Not sure if this is just on holidays and weekends.

Pretty good house brew and the burger was decent, awesome view of the seafront. Good vibe and interesting decor...staff were on the ball... enjoyed my visit.

I was over billed . I noticed yesterday when I arrived at home that I was overbilled. I hope it wa an honest mistake from my waiter not being an advantage bcoz I was intoxicated.

Great burgers. Good beer. Cheap as chips on their Monday happy hour. Quite noisy but it didn’t bother me.

Lovely experience and food. Loved the beautiful African print cushions and comfort. Waiter was friendly and the service good. Sat inside so didnt appreciate the smell of cigarette smoke. Floors felt a bit sticky underfoot but overalls pleasant.

We visited PE for a week and popped in Beershack a couple of times. Friday night was amazing, wonderful vibes, great music, cute people, the place was not jammed which makes it a lot easier regarding Covid insecurity. Food is scrumptious, decent prices and wonderful ocean views! Well be back!

My colleague and I wanted to try a new place for dinner and we settled on BeerShack.It wasn’t busy when we arrived but it took 10-15min from the time we were seated until we were served.I queried the bread options available for the toasted sandwiches and the waitress was unsure.So I opted for the chicken mayo wrap, which is advertised as having various options for the side. I forgot to specify I wanted zucchini fries. And the waitress didn’t actually offer the options/confirm what side I wanted when I placed my order.I also ordered the Jalapeño poppers, which were ok, but the filling was almost powdery, as if it were a very cheap wannabe cream cheese.My colleague ordered the chicken schnitzel which was advertised as having mash and salad.It arrived with chips and salad and no comment made on why the product differed from what was advertised.No condiments were provided (yet empty tables had an abundance of them. We had to fetch them ourselves).The chicken mayo wrap had plenty lettuce, but was lacking on the chicken mayo filling.Chips were good, and my colleague enjoyed the schnitzel which was also a sizable meal.We were helped by three different people. Each time we had to physically go to them to get help. There was no checking up to see how our meal was. Nor did they offer to refresh our drinks. Eventually we were ordering directly from the bar as the waitress would disappear for ages, and the waiter was washing dishes.Once we finished eating the staff were quick to clear table but they didn’t ask if we had enjoyed the meal, or if we wanted anything else.Overall, it could have been an alright dining experience, but the lack of service was quite pathetic.

One if the best pubs in summerstrand, i LOVE the fact that its an amazing restaurant by day and vibey pub by night. Music is always on point and food and drinks is quite affordable. Thumbs up to the amazing staff as well.My only negative is that you cant smoke oka pipe indoors, which is understandable, as that is where people have their meals, however i would suggest that perhaps after the kitchen closes they allow it to be smoked inside, as most of the times it is difficult to get a table outside

Great foods, especially the salad bowls (warm salad) with steak! The meat was so soft and tasty! Large variety of beers to try. The milkshakes are also very tasty! Cool decor and very friendly staff!

Friendly staff, great selection of craft beers , wonderful view of the sea just across the road. Try the jalapeño poppers ! Highly recommended for a few drinks and a meal.

Everytime I go to PE this is my first Stop. They have a range of craft beers and the vibe is chilled and fun. Great sea views. Covid has them trying new things which I dont agree with (their new way of giving you the menu and there was beer shortage on a couple of their brands which is understandable. However I will never go to PE without popping in at the Beershack. 5 stars

Had lunch here. The battered hake was very nice. The sweet potato fries could have been a bit crispier.We also had a Piri piri Chicken Burger, and unfortunately the chicken was a bit rough.Good smoothies and beers.

Service is OK, but I was not satisfied when they brought my beer, it spilled all over and the guy didnt bother to wipe my glass at all.

The food and drinks are great and affordable but the service on that day was really slow. Our waiters changed over 3 times and our food took over 25 minutes to arrive but it was worth the wait.

Amazing!!! A beautiful view of the sea, friendly staff and one heck of a milkshake (Oreo) they served me!! The pizza is to die for and the music is what I can call, best for students or people who just want to have a casual vibe! During the day, its a casual and cosy restaurant, during the night, it becomes another world where the roof seems to be blown away from the heavy bass sounds from the DJs to performs there. There are well known DJs (Chunda Munki, etc.) with the entry prices from R50 (it does depend though). But all in all, this is a very good place for travelers who want to have a good time!

One of the best place to drink beer. My favourite is naked Mexican. With jelapino pepper and sweet potato fries. A quite reasonable price and stunning view while drinking. They have burger Monday. Pasta Tuesday and DJ on Friday. Friendly staff and cosy atmosphere make your time worth spending.

I love their burgers, they run a special on them every Mondays. Me and my friends go there almost every Monday and weekends, its our second home basically. The vibe is chilled, you get to have the sea view while enjoying your meal and the customer service is great .
