I was very satisfied with the professionalism and quality of the service provided by SSS at my home in Welgelegen George, installing a solar system.To put the cherry on top, I was informed by SSS about 2 weeks after the job was finished and paid for, that I have overpaid them by R32000 and that they would refund me! I was not aware of this and they could have kept quiet and I would never have known. This reflects great business ethics and I can really recommend these guys!

When I rebuilt my house at Elandskraal after the June 2017 wildfires in the Knysna area, I overshot my budget in order to be able to install a 3kVA 12kWh hybrid solar power system from SSS, with minimal battery storage (200Ah @ 48V). My son and his family are living there now and he recently sent me the following Skype messages: Oh, by the way, weve been having load shedding for the last few days , but it doesnt affect us! Having solar is amazing!. And a few days later: Also, every day the solar panels are such a blessing! Yesterday there was a power cut from 20:00 until 22:30, and the panels ran the basics plus my computer with an estimated 37hr of battery! If it werent for that Id have missed a deadline. Rather than install a solar thermal water heating system which is expensive these days, I bought an extra 2 PV panels (250Wp each) and put a 2kW titanium element in a standard 150l geyser. My sons comment on this: We only run the geyser in the middle of the day or when nothing else is running, but even so we pretty much always have hot water.I havent got the latest readings, but Im pretty sure the extra I paid to install solar power has already been worthwhile.Thanks SSS, and cheerio ESKOM!!
