It was an awesome area to stay in, my only advice is to get a small shop within the Lodge or a place to eat breakfast. Other than this, it was awesome.

The resort needs some serious TLC, I found the chalet to be dirty, in need of a good spring clean and maintenance, the bathroom looked like it hadnt seen a handy man in years, so it was okay because we made the most of it. The plus side was definitely the other guests, all very conscientious and courteous, our kids made friends with the neighbors kids, so this added to the experience. Id stay there again but would mentally prepare myself for the house keeping nightmare.

Highly overpriced. Have been there few times and never been offered discount (not that it was needed but as a return customer). Rooms are old fashioned and the room my parents were in had a lice problem and were moved to another room. Not very welcoming either. I wouldnt recommend spending the amount of money to stay at this establishment. Cheaper and prettier alternatives.

Pine Lodge provides good accommodation at fair rates. The conference facilities are to be recommended. There are different venues available and all are well equipped. if you need to organise a conference or wedding reception this venue should cater for all your need. Food catering is of top quality and always in good portions. This is a personally recommended venue.

Professional friendly staff welcomes you at the reception and assist you to very clean and luxurious accommodation units, overlooking the beautiful mountain. This is self-catering units that is fully furnished with everything you may need for your stay. Theres also safes in the rooms to lock-up your valuables. The tennis court, kids - playground and swimming pool are being kept in perfect condition. The braai areas and spacious gardens are also kept clean and tidy. We just love this Lodge and and the friendly personnel. Thanks to everyone for a welcome stay. We feel like family.

Neat and clean with all the necessities for a self catering stay. Not the most lavish accommodation but worth the price point.

Attended a wedding here. At first I was sceptical about the venue, but the inside is much nicer. Food was absolutely amazing! And most of the staff very friendly. All and all we had a great time.

Very bad experience. Bedding was dirty. Cupboards were broken. No coffee and tea services. Some bathroom facilities are molded and broken. All of this and we had to pay R1050 per night! Not worth it!!!!

Bathrooms, in particular the showers, need a serious update. Other than that, the serene atmosphere and beautiful views of the Outeniqua mountains are good food for the soul.

Very relaxing, friendly reception, clean and spacious, near to mall and various shops but still enjoying a secluded country atmosphere.

Dissapointingly shoddy with surly staff. Check in was unfriendly, almost hostile. Everything geared to preventing theft! (By guests?) bedding was unpleasant with tatty sheets and blanket that felt old and dirty. Not for me! But I think as a hostel for school tours maybe its more appropriate. It did feel like a really bad boarding school experience.

My parents always stay here when they need a place in George that is closer to the NMU campus because I study there. And everytime they book a room I join them because its a very nice place to stay at. The bathrooms are always clean with a good supply of all your necessities. The rest of the room is always clean and they have the most well supplied kitchenette ever. Youre never in need of anything and if you are, you can always call the reception and theyll sort it out.One thing that let me down is that they didnt have WiFi on the whole lodge instead the hotspots were in different areas. Hopefully they have fixed that because a WiFi connection is always a perk. Also, I dont know whats with the compartments of stuffing in the duvets instead of normal duvet inners. I just find it really odd. As a result I thought that the bed wasnt made when I first walked in because the bed looked very lumpy.Overall it is a very nice place to stay at. They also have a swimming pool and a tennis court. Ive enjoyed all the stays Ive had there and Ill probably stay there a few more times in the future.

The single rooms have inter leading doors to other rooms. Some of these doors do not lock on both sides. My colleague is afraid and therefore do not prefer to stay there any longer.

Passed there because this was venue for our area voting station, that was then, today 27 november 2020 the resort was auctioned to a new buyer, lets see what will happen with the resort

My wife and I recently decided to take a break from the hustle and bustle of city life. It was a very last minute affair and we were looking for something affordable and comfortable, I found pinelodge on Facebook of all places (saw their ad) I read the profile and really liked what they had to say, so I gave it a shot.It was comfortable, friendly and quaint.
