Great. In a single word, great. Everything about the place is great. Great service, great setting, great coffee, great food, great staff. Its become a Saturday tradition to have breakfast at the Foobar Cafe when my work keeps me in the area. Never once regretted making that decision. Great place.

Waited maybe a bit longer for the food to be served than expected, but is was worth every minute.The food was awesome.Well done!

Myself and my husband visited this Cafe in 2015 - The food quality was the best in town - even the fish dish was up to standard next to Catch A Lot! We miss this cosy spot below the mountain pass - we will visit soon - Mark & Michelle Dovey - Gauteng

The service is horrible. I ordered a latte and the milk tasted sour. I kindly told the waitress I dont wanna be a hard customer but It doesnt taste right, she was very rude and didnt do anything about the situation.Things like this dont usually bother me but the service has been bad everytime I went there.

We found the food ok but the restaurant is very unkept. The toilets were filthy and in disrepair and the seating cushions hadnt been washed for goodness knows how long.The walls, windows and everything in general needs a good spring clean. Its a management problem and therefore is an eatery we wont be frequenting soon.So sorry to have to give such a poor report.

Tried out the pizza and a burger ,cant say I was impressed with canned mushrooms on a pizza,burger was average,I think they can notch up the flavor side of things.

Foo Bar had the best cocktails in George on offer. Their tapas never disappoints and their staff is always friendly and attentive. They have a great view and cosy setting.

Fantastic pizza! If you like anchovies they are the place to go to as well! The cocktails are also noteable and you have a pretty view of the mountain if you sit outside or by the window. The ladies that work there are very hard working and attentive. Bathrooms are always clean and they use individual hand towels that are washed as opposed to paper towel waste or electronic hand dryer waste which made me happy.

Excellent Pizza, service is brilliant. The interior needs a revamp. Draft beer is sometimes not available but for the most part the staff make you feel welcome with their friendliness.

The name alone should have warned us off! I literally thought that a D after Foo had mistakenly been omitted. We ordered nachos. Worst that I have ever tasted. And the waitress had such an ego that Im surprised she managed to get into the door, let alone condescend to serve us. One of the worst experiences Ive had in George.

Fantastic pizza! Quality ingredients on a crispy thin base made in a wood fired oven. Definitely worth it! Great atmosphere as well.
