This is an amazing shop. You can find just about anything you need here for the building or do it yourself goodies. Staff are very knowledgeable and so friendly and helpful. Pricesare extremely competitive. Parking is sometimes a problem when they very busy.

If you want tools or industrial supplies in George, H&L is likely to have what you need. Their prices are favourable. Drills, taps and dies, metal files, high speed steel lathe tool blanks, springs, bolts, nuts, washers ... items too many to mention. Its always a hive of activity with many of the locals stopping in for their supplies. Open on Saturday mornings for those weekend needs. If you are in need of some general industrial tool or lubricant or other item not provided by the usual diy outlet such as Builders I suggest to call in at H&L.

My all time favorite hardware store, and a legend in George. Great service from people who know their stuff. They are especially good with nuts, bolts, screws, nails and fasteners for any application. You can also buy the exact quantity you need for a job.

For all your hardware and diy needs

TERRIBLE SERVICE. The entitled staff think theyre doing you a favor when they decide to help you. Did I mention that each little item you wish to purchase has to written down, that each items price has to be looked up, that each transaction has to be calculated on a calculator, then written down again. Really, were living in the 21st century with POS systems.

Service is outstanding, prices is very good

They never answer their phones or when they do they put you through to someone else which also do not pick up. They ask for your details so that someone can assist but they dont even et back to you. You need to upgrade your system. Or get someone to do just telly sales. It is really frustrating when you need to do quotes and the only company in George whom may assist does not give proper service or any service at all.
