Course always in immaculate condition for our annual golf tour

Always one of the highlights of our golf trip. Course is in great condition and facilities are very good. A very social club which welcomes visitors with open arms.

Great golf course and the staff at the club are always very helpful. One of the nicest clubs in the area. Lots of trees and bushes for that proper old school golf course feel. Buck and other animals walking around. Food prices seem to have jumped quite a bit since last year but quality was good.

George Golf Club: in my humble opinion, one of the most beautiful courses in the Southern Cape, if not in the Western Cape.

Rotary fellowship and meeting every Tuesday from 18H00 to 19H00. Good food, good service and the planning of good deeds. Perfect setting and always accommodating.

What a wonderful municipal course, I am quite impressed!

This Golf Club is managed at a high standard by the general manager Sandra Lennox and her team. This parkland course is beautifully manicured and a fantastic golfing experience for all types of golfers. Staff members are professional and helpful. With so many top golf courses to choose from in the heart of the Garden Route, this course is definitely one of my favourites and very affordable compared to other courses in and around George.

What a magnificent golf club. The gardens and course are so beautifully manicured and well maintained. The wild life are abundant, plenty of buck, monkeys, and amazing bird life. The food is great, staff are amazing, friendly helpful and full of smiles. The atmosphere is relaxing, calming and inviting. It was such a pleasure to sit in the lounge, enjoying the view and watching the golfers. Im not a golfer but what a beautiful club.

5 stars! That is all there is to say! This course gives Garden of Eden vibes! Tucked away in the tree lines, this semi forest course is of EXCELLENT condition! Perfect mix of difficulty and ease of play. I loved every round I played there! One of the most memorable holes has to be no. 15 Par 3. Really getting Augusta vibes from that hole. Absolutely beautiful.

Very good. We ordered cheese and ham, received cheese and tomato. What a pitty because we did not eat tomatoe. Not enough time to redo the order, because we had too tee off.

A definitive place to visit

Literally one of those hidden gems that the locals try to keep to themselves. Its a municipal golf course, but everyone I have ever booked here said it was an absolute highlight!

Very poor experience at this club. The course itself was stunning, but the day was ruined by rude staff who seemed to think its okay to treat me and my business partners like naughty children. We were spoken to with agression and felt very unwelcome there. The lady in the pro-shop and the gentlemen who followed us to rake bunkers were very polite and treated us with respect. The other staff however had no intention of helping us or providing information. The man on the first Tee was extremely rude to us and even swore at one of my friends when he asked if we could share a sand bag (which we could not, we were forced to purchase a sand bag each, after green fees).The day was rained out (probably the best thing to happen to us on the course) and we were provided with rain check vouchers, which we decided were not even worth keeping due to the manner in which the staff conducted themselves.It is sad to say but this beautiful course seems to have been ruined by poor staff management. Even more sad is that there are some people who are trying hard to provide a good service to their clients but are not being supported by their colleagues.

My favourite golf course. I have played here numerous times over the past 20 years and the course is always in stunning condition. You cannot help but enjoy your day here. Excellent service coupled with a relaxed atmosphere and an interesting course.

A lovely old course. A must play if your visiting for a golf trip. Admittedly I found their December prices a bit inflated to take advantage.

This is a fantastic experience. Lovely reception and organized golf club. Fairways and greens superb and course management is required when teeing off as well as second shots. Must to visit!

Nice golf club with wonderful features and holes especially hole no.15 its a absolute stunner ! Marshalls are helpful and tell you to speed up when youre playing a bit slow😉.The club house and bar is nice and cosy.R10 for a brownie is a bit expensive but for that kind of Brownie Ill pay anything for.Me and my sister enjoyed ourselves.

Definitely in my Top 5 in South Africa. Great layout. Final 3 hole views on the front are special as are all holes with the mountains in the background. Along with Stellenbosch, as must play.
