Always a smooth and easy process to get my packages. And staff are always friendly and willing to help.Another great attribute is that it is open after work hours, which takes away the hassle of having to rush to the pickup point during lunch hour or just before 5. So convenient!

Shocking Service. Exceptionally rude frontshop staff.I would rather wait a day or two longer for delivery.

Useless call centre agent. No idea how to follow up on a failed transaction. Cannot commence the interaction by establishing the login of the customer. Explanations of why their system does not work. What a total joke takealot.

A pleasure to have this pickup point. Pickups are always quickly dealt with. Very little time is spent here to wait and service is quick.

Never had a problem up until today. I have been waiting for my package all day and according to the app it was supposed to have been delivered by 5pm. now i am not sure if perhaps they do deliveries later than that seeing as they show office hours from 8am to 8pm am and because the status online says it is still out for delivery even though it is now just after 6. But in a situation like this or if perhaps your drivers are too busy, it might help to inform the clients who was suppose to get their packages on that day..

Not recommended to buy wine on takealot, 2 of the 6 bottles was off.The wine did not come in its original packaging but was repackaged in takealot boxes which made us think it was bought in bulk and not stored in its recommend storage conditions to maintain the quality of the wine.Unfortunately no response from takealot on the bad quality wine.

Used all my airtime trying to sort out a delivery. Usually everything is on spot, but now that it is not.... no one helps, no one phones! I have to phone them and request to be helped again and again as my parcel was first late without explanation and then incomplete!No one wants to take responsibility and no one is even considering that I am using all my airtime to sort this out! Worst service I have ever received from them!

For the most part it great having a pick up point in George as opposed to only having the option of courier delivery. More often than not the George Pickup Facility has been a pleasant experience.I do however have one thing to gripe about: the whole reason a customer would select to pick up a package instead of have it delivered to ones home is due to the fact that Takealots courier service does not deliver over weekend (i could be wrong on this point as it has been a long time since i opted for home delivery). Meaning that if you order a package for home delivery anytime after Wednesday, you will more than likely only receive said package on Monday. If however you order after Wednesday you should theoretically be able to pick up the package on either Saturday or Sunday. However my experiences to this point has taught me that if you order an item on Fridayg and it arrives on Saturday, then you may as well forget about collecting on a Sunday. Which is actually a load of s@#$. My personal opinion is that the George branch facility do their own thing on a Sunday and dont really care about anything else. So if you ordr whatever on a Friday you may as well select the option for home delivery as either way you will only receive your package at the soonest on the Monday.

Drove all the way here after receiving an sms that a package has been delivered. Was told by takealot employee that I should have selected collect and not deliver and as a result I have to wait a day. This is just such a waste and a sign of extreme laziness on their part.

Ordered from Superbalist and the parcel was due to arrive at 17:00 on the 28th of December.Got a message and an email at 16:40 that my parcel had arrived and I could collect it, but they closed at 17:00 so I rather went the next day.Pickup point is much nicer than I thought and the service was very efficient, parcel was in perfect condition. Will use again

1st experience from collection point- I received sms&email notification, was 5min away so popped in only to be told it will only be ready in 2hrs if I wanted to wait, but should rather come back following day at 10:00 cause it will ready then. Wanted to ask what the point of Your order is ready for collection was, but thought must be a reasonable explanation. Back next day got parcel, quick and swift👍2nd experience maybe 30min ago- Received notification at 16:17. Clicked on link and on Maps I look at open times, and see they close at 20:00, so i thought great will give them 2hrs because of last experience. It clearly states closes at 20:00, only to get there and be told they are closed already, upon which I said but it shows that you close at 20:00 only. That was for yesterday I was told and to come back on the 26th to collect your package. Whats the point of the operating hours, if its not correct!!!!
