The internet speed is incredibly inconsistent and slow with constant problems. Weve logged numerous complaints, but theyre unable to resolve the issue. Forget about having reliable fiber internet to work from home if you go with Herotel. Very disappointed. I included the speedtest - a direct result from their website. This is what 50mps looks like: 0.53!

Were better as Cloudconnect. Slower than paid for speed. Erratic signal supply. Slow response from helpdesk.

I swear using a messenger pigeon would probably be faster than Herotels upload and download speeds. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the staff at the Eden Meander office are friendly and somewhat helpful.

Great internet, great service

To be honest one star is being kind. I have had bad internet for the last week download and my Latency is bad. It is so bad i can even watch netflix properly. There was not even a message sent out that there is a problem.

One of the worst and dreadful internet providers I have came across. Most of the time getting bad internet connection and sometimes normal, but not fast as its support to be. I do speed tests with no devices connected to the internet and I receive at least 1.4 upload and 1.5 download. This is outrageous. Playing online games with at least 500 ping latency(which is terrible for gaming). Whilst calling for assistance, they are supposed to help you and the internet is perfect, but after a while its terrible, especially when theyre closed. I called for assistance a few times and was told that the internet is doing fine or they just dont do anything to the internet. Currently, were on a very great package, but could barely load a YouTube video on 144p. Please assure that you choose wisely before choosing this as your internet provider, as they will most probably not give you the best quality internet connection.

Constant struggle to get a decent speed and/or latency, i have to call them two to three times per week to complain about the same thing. The issue always gets escalated, but not sure the guy it gets escalated to exist

The WORST internet in George. You honestly should be embarrassed about your service. When I tried to email them. The paige was unavailable. Which shows how pathetic they are. Would they respond? No, cause they have no service. HEROTEL YOU SUCK

Horrible internet honestly. Don’t waste your time with them. Started off great with our fibre at first and then just completely went downhill. Can barely get 1 mbps download and then my upload speed is higher than we pay for. Throttling at its best. I’m writing this review with my data because I can’t even open google chrome with the internet via a cable connected laptop to test the internet. They always have empty answers to our problems and the internet always suddenly gets better right after we call them(sometimes not), even though they tell us that they don’t know what the problem is. Used to be a good provider but I don’t recommend them the slightest now. Save yourself from unneeded anger and frustration. Hope this proves helpful

After various calls, we are still not sure what the problem is. Upgraded from from 4mbps line to a 8mbps line for better speed, and it still sucks.

Excellent service at a good price. The team were professional and installed the radio, dish and router in less that 2 hours.

Much slower than it should be and sometimes they just turn the connection off entirely.

Great service here in Plett, call center notified us on the delay due to the distance of the main office to plett. Great installation and they went the extra mile. Would recommend as a WiSP
