Good day, I rented a car from Avis Budget George and dropped the car off on June 16th as requested. We checked out with an employee and everything went well and I signed the deposit agreement. Two weeks later 8000R was taken from my account without any notification. Avis said the car was damaged on the 20th and I was charged. This is completely dishonest considering that I returned the car in good condition and signed before this date. We cant trust you. Signature has value and you cannot question it. In addition, all the information you wrote down on my contract is incorrect. I asked you to provide me with the documents without error and to justify the amount of 8000R (while the invoice you sent me is 1500R) several times and you didnt. Answer me. I am very upset your company mainly because I rent cars in George every month and this is the first time I have had a problem.Fix it.

On the 23th of March I rented a car from Avis George and the car was returned on the 31st of March. a Week later Pieter phoned to inform me that the car has been damaged, a few scratches on the front bumper. I was not aware of any damage on the car except for a scratch on the back when I received the car . I wrote them an email to complain but they did not respond. I was then charged R1554.35 on my credit card without any invoice, nothing. So be aware, they can charge your credit card without any explanation.Probably also repaired the old damage at the back at my expense.. It is your word against theirs. Next time I will take a picture of the car before returning . Definitely no next time at Avis! Bad customer service, be aware.

Avis does not even DESREVE THIS STAR, you are thieves, you steal peoples money!!!! Who gives u the right to keep taking money from my account!!! You charged me R14000 this month you flippen thieves I will lay charges because we never gave u permission to keep taking money.. I WANT THAT MONEY BACK OR ELSE THIS IS NOT A GAME OR A THREAT!!!! YOU ARE STEALING AND I WILL TAKE THIS FURTHER

I want to share this office,pieter always give me good service,I am renting now for almost 7 months by them,BUT a big warning...you pay the car,in my case R8300 a month,and then 5 days later they take another almost R6000 off my acount without any notice,with out any permision...and if you asked them for invoices and statements,they say it will be done today...7 months later...still nothing...so think twice before you put your Dt card in the machine...you gonna sit with a headache...feel free to contact me..

Thanks you guys saved me i had a wonderful experience with you guys. You helped me so quickly and at the last minute after first car rental failed to help me with a car i booked a week back. I wish i knew of you guys earlier. I was left stranded at the airport after i was underage to hire with first car even though they had my ID a week before and happily asked for the money. Real pathetic. Luckily after a few calls a friendly worker helped me quickly and when i arrived a few minutes later my car was ready. I got the full package for much cheaper then the other company. Had no issues what so ever thank you so much.

I booked a car two weeks before. They called me 10 minutes before pick up time, telling me that there is no vehicle available. I then had to wait 1hour and 45 minutes.communication was the biggest problem i had as also had to pay two Deposits, this was never communicated when i called 3 days just to find out if they are aware about my reservation.There were issues with my Fnb card. Where i had to go to the branch as they could not fo a transaction on my card.I made alternative plans and 2 days after they took more then 400 from my fnb credit card that could not accomodate transactions on the day of the rental.I had a better bad experience.

They charged my credit card even though they had no cars available. To make matters better extra fraudulent transactions went off of my card after using their website.

Waited quite long to get my pre-booked car. Over an hour. The Suzuki car. Fairly good performance. But very uncomfortable car, and the driver seat was loose.
