This coffee shop is one of the best coffee places in George. They have the best roasted coffee. All of the cakes are absolutely out of this world! Go for the cheesecake!

The best coffee.

Beans about coffee (also known as ground control) is a great place to meet with friends. The coffee is great and the service is fast and friendly. The place is well located in York street, George and easily accessible. They are open during the week until 4 pm and on Saturdays until 1 pm. Sundays and public holidays they are unfortunately closed. There is only one downfall to this great place: parking is limited due to many other businesses also in the vicinity.

Amazing banana fudge muffin I had this morning from Beans. You will definitely die over their chicken mayo sandwich and red cappuccino. YUM YUM YUM

Truly the best coffee in the Garden Route. Black Gold Beans = pure Gold. Beautiful shop! No visible sign outside the shop though, but it is worth asking around for directions.

Brilliant cappuccino, and appears to be the locals secret favourite (read no signage, so you will need Google maps to find it) and on a chilly damp day... has a fire for the win.

If you like coffee this is the place for you, this is the Mecca of coffee in George. And the sandwiches and cakes are equally impressive.

This coffee roastery and shop is conveniently located in the centre of the city. It is stylishly decorated and the waiting staff are friendly if sometimes a bit disconnected with the customers. Nevertheless, it lost a bunch of points with the coffee. I had a large latte and to be honest I could not even taste the coffee. I get that a latte is mostly milk but I could honestly not taste even a hint of coffee.On my second visit I had a cappuccino and it was much better than the latte. The waiting staff was also much friendlier. However, the cherry on the cake was the delicious tartlets that they sell for R14 a piece.

Ground Control is a great place for coffee and snacks.

Great vibe, possibly one of my favorite hang-out spots. The roastery has become a buzzing meeting place for many locals in the town.The staff are friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and all round good guys.The venue has a mixed feel of modern and rustic.If you arrive on your own, you still wont feel left out, and you can carry out your business using the free wifi available at the shop.Will recommend this specialty coffee roastery in a heartbeat!

Excellent coffee, friendly service and a rustic appeal make this an excellent place to grab a cup. Dont expect a quiet atmosphere though, as this popular coffee spot is bustling with activity.

Unfortunately not a great experience. The coffee was good but the paying experiance was not up to standard. The manager was talking on the phone helping someone and i had to wait for him to finish befor i could pay. The waiter confused zapper with Standard banks QR code. There was no wi-fi access.
