There is another Golden Harvest at the Garden Route Mall. But this one in town is my favourite. The produce quality seems better and cheaper although it may not be the case. There is also a Van Rensburgs butchery in store as well as a wine boutique. There is a lovely coffee shop at the entrance called Kostalgie where you can have cooked meals. Also, Jimmys bakery is next door with the best baked goods in town.

Always a pleasure to shop here, pruloduce is fresh, shop is clean and meat well packaged. Staff are friendly and willing to go the extra mile. This is a one stop shop for your weekly food needs

Overall its a good place to shop for fresh produce. The veggies are all fresh and most of it seems organic. There are also a lot of other items to choose from including a wide variety of wines. The overall pricing is not to bad however I was able to get meat cheaper at other stores without having to drive to far.The staff was all very helpful and friendly will definitely keep on support this shop.

This store has really gone down since the new owners took over .....looking a bit grubby with the approach carpet and surrounds looking like they need attention poor quality produce and non functioning till points plus a complete absence of front of house management......used to be a really good place to shop of perishable produce now lm not so sure!

During December many holiday makers come to George. If you want to shop where the locals get their fruit and veg, this is the place to go. Ample safe and sure parking.

I live in East London, and come to the Garden Route about 4 times a year ~ and Golden Harvest on Cradock Street is top of my list of places to visit! I love cooking and can always find magnificent fresh produce, the best selection of pasta in the country, great variety of protein and excellent wines at amazing prices! Thankfully, I have quite a large car boot, because I bring home lots of delectables that are not always available at home!

It is a place that has been for years in George.good produce.buthery is nice and personnel friendly especially Andre and the security guard.do not know why an avo must be R30 when PnP is R22. Lamb pkg came down in price to R82 and the sheep is like R73 pkg.I want ro see something that management can implement like using Bulksms and inform customers that signs up about specials just like Wellington Spar does.That will be a great help.The Rump steak is very nice.Potatoes very expensive.

Awesome experience. Fantastic produce and just an overall wonderful experience.

First time visit. Bought 4 avos and 2 lemons in panet, all avos were black inside. Could only use lemons. Sour experience!
