I went to Buco to buy LP Gas and was very quickly helped. The staff were quick to organize the gas and get me on my way again. They also have a huge array of building and home maintenance supplies that can cater for everything from a weekend project to a commercial scale development. Thank-you to the staff

Extremely disappointing. It took the ladies at the tills 30 minutes to process a purchase and credit. They even asked me to call the sales person to come and assist while they were eating their fried chicken behind the counter.

Found what we were looking for with no assistance (as usual), which was a door, no personel even offering to help carry the door from the second floor after walking past them whilst carrying said door, ladies at the cash register too busy stuffing their faces with food and chatting to each other to even look up and acknowledge you. At least the guy who did our invoice was helpful and friendly.

Not good, asked for quick set cement was given normal cement, bought two brackets and was charged for three. Fortunately the security guy pointed out the error so was paid the difference.

The service was,good and shop well stocked.

This hardware store is my onestop hardware store. Friendly group of people and they find what you needs and try to adjust the orice where they can

Poor service, no stock, no management on floor to assist

It has been my experience over several visits to this store that the two ladies at the cash point are more interested in either talking to each other or talking to the security lady than helping you, the client. When they actually give you their attention they seem to do this difficult task reluctantly. And once they actually attend to you, theyll ignore you completely to answer a phone call and leave you guessing whether they still want to help you or not. Stay away, shop at Builders who have pretty much the same products but with way better service.

I always enjoy purchasing my building materials here. There is a large variety materials which caters for the home FIT man to big building contractor. The staff are knowledgeable re their products offered and the service at this particular outlet is sharp and GOOD. Enjoy your shopping experience there.

This is a one-stop builers or contractors store. Carries basically all your building needs. Regular specials on different stock. One of my preferred stores to go to when doing small upgrades or maintenance work.

No service. Still waiting for delivery for urgent work to be done 2day. And still nothing. After paying on Monday confirmed wednesday. And today standing waiting.

Phone to get product information. Very rude reception after 4 times trying to get hold of the right person/department going somewhere else

Such poor service. Every department lets every other department down. Even the manager wont return a call. Be careful when you have deadlines on projects as these people just dont care. A promise means nothing!

I did not like BUCO. I found the entrance area totally unacceptable. There are no clear cashier points and there is always a blockage at the small entrance due to people milling about trying to pay or be cleared at the security check. So the narrow entrance also serves as the exit as well as the security check point. A general lackadaisical atmosphere at the checkout area (entrance, exit, security) makes it unacceptable for me. They do have a lot of goods in stock but I dont frequent them because there is much better service and availability at Builders Warehouse or AGRI or Buildit or even Jacks for the home builder.

Another good place to get house hold timber and board. Also have bathroom ware and paint. Plenty of parking.

Very nice shop. Well stocked and chances are that you wil find what you are looking for here. To find staff on the floor to assist you is a bit of a nightmare. You have to wait until a staff member is free before you can get assistance. Some of prices on shelves dont match cashier computer, so keep an eye open for that

Bucco is well stocked with all the building stuff u need. Formally the old Penny Pinchers. Staff are helpful and u can purchase just about anything here hardware related. Prices are not bad at all.

I was a bit disappointed. I asked for timber for a gate, given a slip that the cashier could not read, paid, presented the invoice to the despatch and was given floor boarding. The dispatcher very kindly exchanged it for the correct gate timber.

They have any thing for the DIY dude and contractors. Best prices in George. Buco beat builders ware......h specials on their normal price!

Kudos to them. They almost always have what Im looking for. The staff know where everything is or where I can find it. The checkout and general shop layout is a bit awkward, especially if you are carrying building materials through the store.

Awesome place to visit. Give attention to detail. Staff to attend to customers on floor please.

This place really needs a manager. It is to laugh about. 3 sequrity checks by staf that hardly know what they are looking at. One pay counter that handles all the clients as well as the switch board.

If you looking for service you came to the wrong place, walk into the plumbing section as I walk towards the service person he turned around and disappear, they called him 3 times over the intercom eventually a person from another department assisted me, will take my business somewhere else, last time BUCO will get my business.

Unfortunately i had to give 1 star to leave a comment i rate 0/5 useless yard workers and unhelpfull staff member we waited 49 min for 11 pieces of wood then after loaded where the wrong size and also in terrible condition .....
