Very nice rustic themed restaurant, with fresh ingredients for breakfast. Play area for kids also available. Good menu options for adults and kids alike. The kitchen is a bit slow but the food is worth the wait.Promt and friendly service also by the waitress.

One of the most beautiful places I have ever had the pleasure of eating at. We were staying at the cottage owned by the people people who own La Rosa Blu for our anniversary weekend away and that was just as beautiful as the restaurant. We are sad that we didn’t get to try PJs famous burgers but we will for sure make a plan to come and try them. I would recommend this place to anyone as well as the cottage if you are looking for a place to stay.

Extremely disappointed! Visited Cafe on 2021-07-22. Arrived, no one at entrance. Completed COVID protocol on our own. Stood around inside Cafe for several minutes, waiter walking past us without even asking if he could help. Walked around between all the other patrons, no staff assisting to show our group to seating. Eventually I intercepted waiter and asked him if he would help. He said he would be back soon, after waiting some more time without any service (Not even being seated) we left. If the staff cannot even seat a group a shudder to think how poor the meal and drink service would be. As we were leaving I bumped into a friend, he also indicated that they have been subjected to poor service. Would not go back or recommend to anyone!

I have been to La Rosa Blu a number of times for lunch and loved it, and our recent brunch experience was no different. The venue is gorgeous - beautifully decorated with a very French feel, the views are glorious, the staff is friendly and the food is excellent. I always enjoy walking around the rose farm afterwards to stop and smell the roses! Definitely worth a visit!

Went for brunch and it was the best restaurant experience Ive had in a while. The scenery and venue are amazing and the food was world class. Magazines are used as place mats so you are kept occupied while waiting and the service was great. Will 100% be back to this hidden gem.

Beautiful little place hidden between the mountains. The garden surrounding the building is so neat and absolutely gorgeous! We ordered cuppacino, carrot cake and a Italian Stallion Burger.The cuppacino (R25) was nice. Not very strong, but flavourful. The foam, however, were not that creamy.The Carrot Cake (R45) was to die for. It was Moist and nutty with cream cheese icing. The slice is very big- perfect for sharing.The Burger (R120) was also really good. A handmade beef patty, Served on a brioche bun and topped with feta,salami, bacon and mozzarella. The patty was grilled to perfection.The only downside was that the service was really slow even though the place was not that busy when we visited.

Best burger Ive had in a very long time. It is very clear that the people here have a passion for food. Wish there was more places like this one. Love it.

Well!After promising myself and others to stop here at some time after years of driving to George airport it finally came about after Mother Nature closed the Outeniqua Pass!Yip it is a gorgeous setting and am sorry now that I didnt order a burger as they seem to be famous for them!Had a good bottle of Rose with an artisanal roll with salmon and salad and stuff!It was fine and supposedly hip,the salad being served in a jar and other things coming in hundreds of separate containers!So tired of that presentation choice!But none the less it was good!Sister had a stripper burger (as in no bun) She is over 50 and has body aspirations!All in all a good experience with a happy ending!Went home with a beautiful new rose called Fragonard!PS Sister says carrot cake divine!A takeaway of course!

Be carefull when checking your bill as they add a 10% service charge automatically, something South Africans are not used to.The owner has responded but I do not consider a table of six large... I think it is normal. I think if you have a automatic service charge then you should get some good service with it.

About 1 week ago. Beautiful view.Tables not neatly laid out, the menu I was shown was full of huge old coffee stains. Waiter not the friendlist. Not really inviting.In my opinion also overprized.Wow, nearly 1 year for a reaction to my review. Honestly?Well, Wimpy did the Job and you didnt.It is as easy as it is.

One of my most favourite places to lunch on a weekend, but have been very disappointed lately. Restaurant / kitchen hours inconsistent.....We arrived there today to be told kitchen closes at 14h00 due to a wedding last night. The staff give u a feeling that they are doing you a favour......such a pity🙃

Very Beautiful, Rustic / Vintage place away from the City life.It is s a great cafe / bistro to take a break, and enjoy life, take a walk in their forest and have a wonderful view of the mountain.The Food is great, made by one of the top young chefs in South Africa.All in all a Great and Wonderful Café, with nace music and a great atmosphere.

Country restaurant, 20km from George on the N9, picturesque mountain views, short selection of drinks, shortish meal menu, beef burgers are recommended, relaxed atmosphere, also spend time in next door rose nursery, worth a visit.
