Very peaceful farm setting. Staff very good. Accommodation very comfortable, and top quality linen. Would definately go back.

A quiet, PEACEFUL, blissful little place to rest and recharge. The room was spotless and a couple of really thoughtful little touches made it homely. A tiny vase of fresh flowers, some free sherry for a nightcap, some chocolates and fruit and plenty of tea, GOOD coffee and hot chocolate. The staff are very friendly and genuinely welcoming. Its along a bit of a bumpy road but just take it slowly, its definitely worth it.

Wonderful place to visit. Hospitality is 5 star. Food excellent and plenty. Great value for money... They can easy charge more. The rooms is beautiful and comfortable. Will see you soon again.

A tranquil, spacious location full of greenery and terraces to enjoy fresh air and a great menu. A super stop for cyclists en route through the Outeniqua mountains or a there and back from George. They have accommodation and a super venue for weddings

What an amazing gem we found. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with warmth and friendliness. Thank you for making our short honeymoon so special and memorable. We will definitely come back again. Breakfast was amazing and the whole atmosphere and tranquility adds so much more to this place.5 days later we return here on a last minute booking. Once again we were accommodated without hesitation. Friendly greeting on arrival. Our room was warm with the heaters on when we got there as it was raining and cold. What a nice feeling it was coming back here. As my husband said when we drove through the gates home sweet home and it truly feels like home and family here. I had got some butternut soup with roosterkoek which was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend Arendsrus. Theres no way anyone can be disappointed. Thank you to Marlene and staff. You all rock.

Magnificent setting with spectacular views and a beautiful garden. We stayed in the Weavers Cottage (self-catering). The cottage needs a little upkeep and attention but nothing major. It was a good stay. I would recommend Arendsrus.

Great place to stay! The rooms are small but wonderfull. Very luxurious and a great view from every room.Remember to ask the staff where the name comes from, its a great story!They have a great restaurant which is perfect for dinner, they also have a great sunday buffet and the best breakfast with a view we have ever has at a guest house!
