Wonderful food, beautiful view and exceptional service. We enjoyed our dinner so much that we went back for breakfast the next day! The eggs benedict were unforgettable. We will be back soon!

Exceptional quality food, ambience and friendly team

1.5 hours to prepare a dry tasteless seafood linguini (chopped into small pieces) for R165 was a bit much to swallow... my wifes and friends meals were also almost inedible at R165 a pop .. but we were hungry by 3pm .. Had to ask for drinks to be served... wouldnt want to chance this again. Would give it zero star but option not available. I understand things have been slow and trying for the restuarant industry and this may have affected your ability ... but dont blow your chances of recovery when you actually get customers now .. you get one chance to make an impression...

Absolutely loved the lamb curry, and it was the perfect day to laze outside in the sunshine on the deck, shielded from the wind. Service was attentive and meal was great.

A delightful little gem. Food is excellent. I had the soup of the day, a Moroccan flavoured butternut soup which was delicious. For mains I had the stuffed chicken served on a bed of mash and perfectly steamed vegetables. My hubby had the stuffed pork which was also a winner. To finish off - dessert - what can I say, ridiculously more-ish. Baked cheese is definitely one of the best weve had - we are baked cheese cake gourmets. The Creme Brulee was served in a delightful dainty tea cup - I love it. Well with a night out at Fynbos Deck. We were a group of 9 visitors on the Perlemoen Trail. We all had a fabulous evening.

Beautiful setting.Was excited and proud to take our guest to this gem.However we were let down by quality of food served..We ordered breakfast and omelets..Request was for soft eggs ,The omelets was dry and our fried eggs was hard yolks..No condiments offered and had to wait for tomato sauce..Attention to detail at our table was non existent.I am hoping its just a once off kind of situation..

Fun place and we had a really nice time! Owners are super friendly.Fish fingers were not made but rather from frozen box...we thought maybe it was fresh fish and if id known i probably woulf have ordered something else for our daughter however she loved it anyway lolFood was average but good enough to still enjoy and not complain....The poke bowl and pasta were much icer than the fish. Coffee was really delicious!Free cake slices for mothers day which was a super kind gesture.We will still return when visiting the area xo

Interesting small restaurant on stilts (stairs or chair lift access for a little sea view) for a drive out to Pearly Beach. Their delicious creamy Eggs Benedict or pastries are a must for breakfast or to take away. Lunch is also served and changes weekly. Lively staff always on hand! Will visit again!

Great food and service. Definately one of the top restaurants in the Hermanus Stanford and Gansbaai area. Well worth the drive out to the beautiful Pearly Beach.

None of the staff are wearing masks, they just wear a half open chin face mask that wouldnt protect either them or the clients. Clear that they dont understand the science behind COVID or the current regulations. Obviously did a 180 within a minute of entering the restaurant, so we did not eat there.

Great restaurant. Stunning views of the sun setting into the Atlantic Ocean. Warm friendly atmosphere provided by gracious hosts. The food was awesome, we had fresh yellowtail caught that morning. The desserts were creamy and delicious. Lastly we were treated to an intermezzo of homemade cold coconut ice. Yum.At the time we went, they have no liquor licence yet. So bring your own wine.

Excellent welcoming on arrival, very peacefully-romantic setting, phenomenal hearty food that makes you feel at home yet it is plated and seved in such a way that its close to somewhat a fine dining experience. Highly recommended.

I absolutely loved this restaurant, completely unexpected gem in the middle of Pearly Beach. The owners were regular visitors to Pearly, from Johannesburg where they owned a very successful catering business before settling in this lovely beach town.The atmosphere in the restaurant is what I would call old world relaxation. In other words laid back without being tacky. From the moment I walked in I felt at home and welcome, not to mention that the food is devine.I started with snails in phyllo pastry served on a splash of Roquefort cheese sauce, it was sublime. For mains I had the Mussel Cracker on recommendation of the chef. I was blown away by the generous portion, the likes of which I have never seen in city restaurants - especially where seafood is concerned.The Mussel Cracker was served on velvety smooth mashed potatoes and asparagus accompanied by perfectly pan fried vegetables. When you taste Fynbos Decks food you realise why it is so worth it to pay a bit more for a restaurant with a chef.The only thing I regret was being so stuffed by my Mussel Cracker that I had to skip on dessert. And I really, really wanted to taste their strawberry infused crème brulé. If ever you find yourself near Pearly Beach do make the effort to visit Fynbos Deck, you will thank me.
