Lovely market. Lots of handmade products. Devine foodstalls, lekker vibe there. Would defnitely recomend this market to friends and family. Two artists defnitely draw my attention and that was the one that recycle nespresso pots to build animals, beautiful pieces. Then the lady with the faces, I just loved that. The food in the market is also worth your time to stop.
Great market with relaxed vibe. Array of creativity showcased, from amazing craft items, clothing, food stalls and ready made foodstuffs. Live music as accompaniment. The second hand book stall, selling childrens books, fiction and non fiction, at a portion of the retail price. Such a treat, especially with childrens books. Well worth the outing.
The market is nicely situated in the middle of franschhoek. There was a wide variety of goods for sale and there was food and drink.
A great vibe with many varieties of food to choose from. My fav stall is the book shop tables.
Oh soo great damn love that place was my first time but certainly not my last
Cute market. Nice range of food & drinks, live music, leather goods, jewelery, clothes, sunglasses, books also available.
Lovely market a bit pricey but a must visit is the traveling coffee shop. Super yum cookies and coffee. Stall holders are very friendly and you feel welcome from the car guard to the stall holders.
This quaint market is in the centre of town and offers a wide variety of home industry items and artwork. Also a wonderful range of food items for every taste to choose from. Not forgetting the wines, champagne, craft beers and gin. A Sarurday outing not to be missed. Not to mention the beautiful town of Franschhoek to explore...
Beautiful setting. Friendly Vendors. Good social distancing. Not forgetting, Pancakes to die for.

Very pleasant in this beautiful town and sunny autumn.
Festive place to visit
A great place to stop on the weekend, as you travel through Fanschoek. Wonderful atmosphere, great food and a good place to pick up the odd present for that difficult family member who has everything.
....After our scrumptious breakfast we decide to walk it off in the Franschhoek Village Market, what an interesting experience to see so many stalls selling anything from African print materials to different-lii priced jewellery. Don’t talk about the countless number of food stalls even a coffee-truck and a bus-bookshop. They have a smokers corner where you can sit and enjoy your cigarettes or pipe. The vibe is live-lii with the live entertainment offered. If you are in the area and have lots of time on hand please make a point of popping in to browse or to buy.....NB! They have their Covid-19 Safety Policy in place “No Mask” No entree and before you enter they Spray your hands with Hand Sanitiser and your Temperature is taken so it very safe…….

Great place to go for a day out. The drive to the market is beautiful and once you get to the market, there is so much on offer. From locally made beverages to handmade handbags, there are plenty of things to buy. Very fun play area for kids. Great for the entire family. And you simply cannot leave Franschhoek without visiting the chocolate shop right across the street from the market.
Very disappointing. Will return when COVID is over.
Brilliant.
The usual market fare. Some interesting food options
Average market. :(
Really hip and Relaxing
For tourists ... prices are too inflated for the local average.... really!! 50rand for a smoothie with 2 carrots, couple of oranges and some ginger !!!! I understand its a market but jeez! its daylight robbery. This is one example off course...
What a lovely place to visit on a Saturday morning. Nice crafts to buy as well as good food. Lovely to relax under the trees and sip on a glass of cold wine. Very enjoyable and recommended
Please do yourself a favour and get to this market. The vendors are great people. And the food is even better.
