Very nice venue, indoors or outdoors under the trees. Lovely pizza and pasta menu, but still a pity that this franchise does not serve steak or chips. Good selection of wine reasonably priced. Service was good with good value for money food. Great eating out experience.

An old favourite restaurant group, but this specific setting is so special. The trees as a canopy above, create a tranquil feeling. Benjie-Lee was the perfect hostess, providing fast and friendly service.

Top class service. Food delicious and a stunning venue to chill. Also animal friendly which is a big plus.

Thank you for a lovely meal, really enjoyed visiting. The pizza base id thin and crispy, the serving of extra cheese, garlic and chille is appreciated, well worth a vist and cosy and warm when there is snow in the mountains!

This Col’Cacchio is awesome and the team are friendly and helpful. Also they have a little kids area.

What a lovely little place. We got here just before the kitchen closed unfortunately but they were very accommodating. Looks like the perfect place for people of all ages. Lovely little play area for the kiddies aswell

Staff were unbelievably rude and dismissive and while it may be an isolated incident, its simply unacceptable.That said, the number of restaurant options in Franschhoek is pretty high and there are many better options.Disappointing, but not exactly a loss.

Potentially this could be a great place... Service was very bad! R165 FOR A PIZZA.... hardly any toppings. R125 for a pasta that was swimming in oil... at least we were not charged for the pasta... kids lasagne was so small and so dry!! Honestly not a good experience...

This place is quite frankly The ColCacchio in cape town. Ive been eating here for years, and everytime the view and the weather was perfect. To boot they make a good pizza!

Really really good. Top notch pizza (esp. vegetarian options according to my veggie offspring). Service was excellent and sensitive to our groups mood (wed been wine tasting up the road). Prices not cheap for pizza but typical for Franschoek and worth every cent.

I went there 2 times so I tried pizza, salad and pasta. The best of the three was the pizza. They are so good and the salad too. I was a bit disappointed in the pasta. So if I go again or you go and don’t know what to take I definitely suggest the pizza because they are great

For a place like Franschhoek... most unattractive presentation of a pizza, cold and unappetizing... And the pasta, bland and came with only 3 pieces of chicken smaller than your thumb... Utterly disappointed for such an establishment. The 2 stars are for the beers we had.

Fire place was blazing in a cold and rainy Wintery night. The prawns pizza was a light base with a slight kick of spice to heat us up. Service was super fast.

We order very regularly for delivery from Colcacchio Franschhoek and have also referred numerous of our five star guest house guests there. It is a hit or miss. It seems it depends on the manager of the day. Today again, for the second time in a row, we ordered over R600s worth of pizzas. I ordered and paid for extra cheese and lots of extra garlic. I received neither. This happened a lot lately. Our previous orders were also not in the system. Maybe we need to start ordering elsewhere as any restaurant needs to be consistent in its delivery.

We went during the Bastille Festival. The vibe at ColCacchios was amazing with a live band and wine tasting. They had various combos such as beer and pizza. I recommend ColCacchio as a place to visit especially during the Bastille Festival.

Sunday afternoon wish the Waiter was more friendly and dont even run pass us to help the w... First and we wait so long for serve and he got angry when he must give the change he think its his tip after he give us so bad serves. Please train staff we are all equal all the money is the same no matter which side come from.

Burnt my margarita base and no extra garlic as requested - and paid for. Their pizza doesnt work as a take away option for me.

I ordered a pizza ( cant remember the name) it had a topping of Italian sausage and CHOURIÇO both were paper thin very dry! Very salty I only managed to eat 1 slice, the rest i put in a box our very friendly waitress brought, I gave it to a beggar who was begging on the corner. The band was quite entertaining and waitress was excellent, thats where the stars came in. 😪😪

Visited for a quick lunch with friends. They had been painting the fence and some of the benches so the seating was not accessible. Luckily the waiter saw us before we sat down and could warn us (no signs). The pizza was very good and the company (which we provided ourselves) excellent.

Great post-hike rehydration station. Good to see craft beers on the menu.

Pizza base was so thin and flakey, and the cheese didnt even cover the whole pizza. It felt like I was eating a piece of bland crust.

I was here on Sunday for mothers day, what a lovely time we had. They had a live performance from a singer with a guitar - ambience was great. They also had a mothersday gift which was a single gin and tonic...I was dissapointed when they offered all the mothers at the table the gift (we were 9 people and 5 mothers) and there was only enough left for 2 of the mothers, my mom, my boyfriends mom and myself didnt receive the drink and had to order other drinks. I also sent back the dirty fork I received to get a clean one.Kids play area. Staff is friendly and attentive. They are covid-19 compliant. Lots of parking across the street under the trees. Cash and card accepted here.

Well the waitress saved the day with their friendly service but the food was less than impressive. The pizza my wife ordered was dry and unappetizing. It was 30 degrees in the shade and the served room temp white wine no ice offered. And the sodas were room temp as well. Lacking a bit of class there guys. You can learn something from your Willowbridge colleagues. The decor inside left much to be desired as well - it half looked like they closing down. Sorry Franschhoek Col’Cacchio not impressed.

You can never go wrong with Col Cacchio - always the best option for pizza, pasta, salads & desserts! In a lovely spot under the trees on the main road. Service was a little slow but friendly.

I love the vibe on a summer day underneath the old oak trees. Live music on the weekends create a lovely family atmosphere.

We had a lovely light meal in the beautiful garden. There is a nice play area for the kids and their lasagne was delicious. Highly recommend it.

I go here often and always wonder why its so popular. The pizzas arent that great. The staff are often unhelpful or unfriendly. The outside seating is like a grubby pub would have and yet its consistently one of the busiest restaurants in Franschhoek.My take is that we all love pizza and that its cheaper and faster than most local restaurants.

Poor Service!!! Worst Tasting Café Latte

Terrible service from obviously untrained waitrons. Only two waitresses working the entire evening, whilst we were there, with two guys hiding inside the restaurant. Had to ask for my drink, twice, (apparently a barrel change was in progress), dirty plates to be cleared and waited ages for the bill. Food below standard of other ColCacchio restaurants visited. So many better places to visit in Franschhoek.

What a train wreck!! Restaurant was 10% full, staff were spinning as if it was packed to capacity. Waited 15 minutes to be seated, eventually seated ourselves. Approached the manager, who was unapologetic and asked if he was short staffed, answer was no and it just appears to be a case of a badly run restaurant. Pizza arrived an hour after arrival and was good. My suggestion, go elsewhere. Allora is a 100m up the road and will probably actually appreciate your business. Hopefully the management at ColCacchio pull up their socks and learn some skills in customer service going forward. What a shame!
