Absolutely loved our stay. The cottage, food and hosts were amazing! Highly recommend it to anyone.

It was our first time traveling with our 15month old daughter and Cottage on 55 was a home away from home. The room was cozy and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed and the honesty bar was well stocked with a variety of snacks and drinks. The bed was super comfy with soft, fluffy and warm pillows and duvets - our daughter slept so well. The private garden with its herbs and flowers was a real treat to enjoy a glass of wine in and gave our little one space to explore. Our hosts were beyond fantastic and breakfast was spectacular. A special thanks for all the warmth with which every member of our family was looked after and accommodated, especially toward our little girl who had the best time. We will definitely stay here again as our first choice in Fransshoek.

Truly amazing place, couldnt recommend more highly! Wonderful hosts, massive comfy beds, great vibe, cool decor. Really nice location - quiet but central and close to some great spots. Oh great breakfasts too 🍳🥓🥐🥐

This property are unprofessional, they cancelled our booking on the day of our booking as they had double booked. It was our honeymoon and we had to spend all morning trying to find a last minute alternative. Completely unacceptable. Don’t take the risk.

We were there for my friends birthday. We spent 4 days. Very nice and homely. Suitable for families.

Stylishly furnished cottage with good beds. A lovely garden with a terrace where you can drink a glass of wine in the evening. Erna and Guido are friendly people who make you feel at home right away.

Lovely place in a prime location in Franschhoek, ideally located in relation to the village. Accommodation is well cared for, finest beds we slept in during our trip in South Africa, nice shower, all decorated in style! Super hostess and host. We enjoyed the stay and everything around it. Really recommended!
