I means that gallery has a calming effect .And that silver he uses in the art just makes its magical and lively.l did get the opportunity to meet the artist and he is very passionate about art his amazing work and talent.l loved the gallery and the art. My best painting was the mischievously cute ostriches .

Sénéchal-Senekal Is a very beautiful art gallery in Franschhoek. We went to visit the Gallery during our Roadtrip trough South Africa and were totally exited to have found such a beautiful place and unique art pieces during our trip.The artist has an impressing collection of local art inspired by the South African nature and wildlife.We bought a painting for my home in Germany, a perfect piece of art and special memory of our stay here.... A must visit when you come to Franschhoek .

We absolutely adore Franschhoek but especially love the galleries in town, with Sénéchal-Senekal Art Gallery being one of our favorites. We often visit the town for a weekend away and without fail we have to pop into the gallery to see what is new! Junaid’s art is breathtaking and unique and right from the first time that we saw his paintings were were blown away! His artwork never fails to disappoint! I think what sets him aside from others is his silver layering technique. A special treat is when the artist, Junaid, is in the gallery! Well worth a visit!!

Excellent gallery set in a little French town in the Western Cape. The staff were friendly and professional. The paintings...OMG! I dont know how the artist does it, but it has this amazing subtle metallic silver at particular angles! Completely unique and amazing! Go check it out!

During the beautifull South African summer we did spend some days in Franschhoek.During our walks through the city center our eye caught the gallery of Senechal Senekal.We were walking straight into the doors and I only focussee on the beautifull paintings on the wall and outside the shop. We were fortunate to meet the artist himself Junaid.We couldn’t believe the different colours. We have never seen the silver technique as used by Junaid  and it seems that every minute the colours changed and it looked a different painting.It was incredible to see the level of detail in the different paintings whether it was the South African animals or the ballerinas. The  various paintings of Christiano Ronaldo were like photos. In a word fantastic.But one painting was immediately our favorite. The Australian koala. You saw the love of the artist for this species in the eyes of the Koala. The story behind every painting is unimaginable.Ask in the gallery for the stories of the painted animals. Especially  ask about the story of the elephant Sally.You need to buy, you want to buy. And when you buy, you know for sure that you have something unique in your home. Unique in painting technique, unique in colors and unique in details.Thank you Junaid for bringing pleasure into our lives. We daily enjoy your paintings and we can recommend everyone to pay a visit to the gallery. You will not be disappointed.
