Friendly service and generous portion sizes contributed to a pleasant meeting with a friend.I found the coated chicken thighs on the burger too rich, but our waiter, Leo, arranged to replace it with a chicken breast, which I enjoyed. I appreciated the willingness to satisfy the customers needs, that is super service!

Me and my Australian Shepherd pup Zarah visited Doppio Zero for a quick burger and cappuccino and was pleased to get n nice bowl of water for her. This is a really nice pet friendly lunch spot in a busy city. The food was great and I can really recommend Doppio Zero to everyone who wants to grab lunch but has to pet sit as well.

Stopped here today for a quick breakfast and it was a bit slow to start, then again they renovating so considering that the service was excellent well done!!!! The best part if the morning was the cute bottle gift they gave my son after the coffee mug tipped over and he got wet nice touch and he felt special.... breakfast was tasty the toast was lovely and we had a nice time thank you!!!

Doppio is always a great place for meetings and a bonus is excellent meal menus. Want to meet for breakfast? No problem they have you covered. Need meet a friend for a coffee ? Then come along as the coffee selection is great. Doppio also covers you with all the needed COVID precautions one might expect. Good service and great meals - come hungry !

It was our first time at this restaurant, we wanted to try something new. Experiment with new dishes that we dont know 😊🙈The experience was okay, our waitress was serving lots of customers, so she was a bit everywhere. And I think thats also because we went in the last hours before closing time. Im sure if it was during normal hours, the experience would have been great.

I ordered platters for a work function and gave the chef a difficult task as we had numerous diet and allergy requirements. I was so impressed by the amazing spread that was put together for us. The food was delivered on time and everything looked and tasted delicious. I have never been disappointed by this restaurant. Thanks for always going the extra mile to ensure a great experience.

No sanitiser upon entry. Bathrooms without soap nor paper hand towels. Service really slow. Met with the owner, who came to address my complaints without a mask. For great Italian, service, and peace of mind; try the Big Bad Wolf in Cedar Square instead.

Girlfriend asked for a hard-boiled egg and a croissant, got half boiled eggs, and toasted croissant halves.I got half crispy, half uncooked bacon.The hot chocolate was okay.0/10 would not spend money here again.

Service was excellent and on top. From the time walked in the door to the time we left we were well looked after. Food came quickly and was delicious and went down really well. Drinks were also quick. We felt as though the ppl wanted to assist you and that it was not just a job. Will be going back soon for sure. Thanks for the brilliant service and food.

The service was a bit slow once they got me seated, Im not sure why because it wasnt full.The food was amazing, I had the berry ice tea and the vegan pasta. I love how their menu is accommodating to people who eat plant based. The atmosphere is cool and quiet. I am definitely going back.

Biggest disappointment of my experience with restaurants. The waiter took so long to bring my food, I opted to have it as a take away after 30 min of waiting....only to get home and discover they burnt my chicken breasts and even managed to burn eggplant for my salad.

Ordered a pizza for pick up from Uber Eats. When we got to the resturant we were not attended to, no safety protocols were taken in line with COVID 19. My biggest mistake was not checking the pizza before we left. When we got home the pizza was burnt and the avos were turning brown. Last week i was at the Doppio Zero in Sandton and the food was great and the staff as well. This Doppio Zero gives a bad name to all the others. I am EXTREMELY disappointed. I would not have even paid R5 for that pizza. I will never eat from this resturant ever again!!!!

Ordered a spaghetti, a salad, and a chicken meal.Below average food. The fries were not cooked properly, the spaghetti was just drenched in cream and butter and no flavor, and the salad was so not worth it for 100 bucks(small quantity)Please try improve on the quality of the food.

The past three times I have visited the service has been terrible. Unfortunately this will now be the last time. You wait for someone to take your order then wait ages for your food. The most recent visit my coffee was practically chucked on the table and the waiter ran off before I could place a food order and then could not get anyones attention to order food? I eventually stood up to go and pay as I could not wait longer. I love doppio as they have a great menu and generally good food. I hope that they can sort their staff issue out? Not sure if they are under staffed or if their systems are inefficient?

Got two take away meals tonight. Shocked by what we got for the price we paid. The food was inedible, sour and just overall horrible. The portion sizes were a joke and was missing sides. Worst take away experience ever.

Loved it. Have lived in close proximity for years and only visited during the day. At night the music from Billy The Bums next door, depending on where you sit could be a bit disturbing. But then the guy in his Lamborghini, revving the hell out of his car, driving up and down in the parking lot, trying to impress a piece of tail from the Billy The Bums was even worse. I digress. We celebrated a birthday and my steak, marrow and chips were tasty and done to perfection and the rest of the gang (who were vegan, vegetarian and gluten intolerant) also loved their food. Our waiter was gracious, friendly and a good photographer. We have a nice group pic to mark the occasion and the Lemon Meringue birthday cake was delicious. A doggy bag we ordered for someone left at home, included an order of your salmon fishcakes which were amazing. The table was disinfected thoroughly before we sat down and the waiters were masked throughout. Thank you. The picture is my first order of business always. A cocktail Ive never had before. This one, a Passionfruit Caipirinha. Reminds me of the Passion Dawa made with Konjagi in Zanzibar.

I have actually never been disappointed by a meal or staff at Doppio. They have a wide variety of options on their menu that would please any fussy eater and the staff are super friendly. Our lady lagged a bit with service and when we needed a top up on beverages we could never find her but there was always someone around happy to assist

This is one of the best Doppios to eat at. With a second floor for a view and privacy and downstairs verandah seating. Makes for a great place for brunch and lunch and dinner as well. Good is always fresh and tasty.

Wonderful!This is one of our favorite Doppio branches. The service is always really great, the staff there are quick, very friendly and happy to accommodate anything that we want.Regarding the food, weve always found their portions to be generous and our food has been consistently good. Everything has always been really tasty and freshly prepared. In comparison to other Doppio Zero branches that we frequent, this branch has always been great when it comes to their food and what we get. We will drive the extra distance specifically for the great service and fantastic quality of the food that we get from here.They also have an amazing setting where we can sit outside in the shade on a hot day and enjoy the weather.Really a superb offering on the whole and I would highly recommend this branch in specific.

A good spot for a decent meal, most popular for breakfast / brunch. It has a good range of vegan options, and options in general. You can sit indoors our outdoors (upstairs or downstairs), you overlook the parkibg lot and main road but it still has a decent vibe.

Yesterday we were served by Blessing, Doppio Zero Pineslope. He was serving to tables the other table 2 white gentlemen that he served nicely, when it comes to us he was so annoyed and grumpy we asked him if we did something wrong?? He said we took time to place an order and he still did not see anything wrong with his attitude towards us. It wasnt my first time going there but I would never go again, because of the bad service I experienced yesterday.

This place gets very busy, they have great banting options at this restaurant. I highly suggest the naked hippo with a G&T.

Very very slow Dopio this. My tapas were nice enough, but we had to send back my wife’s burger as the patty was still completely raw inside. She had asked for a well done patty.This took even more time.We like coming to Dopio, but the service and food was not up to their usual standard.Had a second go at this Dopio. Careful at which table you are seated - most of them are very dirty and caked with grime.My breakfast bowl was not too bad. But we had to repeat our order several times as several items were missing. My wife’s sausage was also undercooked again.I’ve dropped their rating by another star.*Update:Service has improved- food still good.

Lovely location, great food and cocktail specials but there is a lack of concistency with regards to the serve and sometimes the cocktails. Usually the cocktails are amazing but there have been a few occasions where they were not great. We started going every week because of the great specials but the last two times we went we were very disappointed with the service. The last time we went it took 10 minutes for someone to come to us after waving our arms, then it took another 10 minutes to get our drinks and it was not very busy. The time before that we had the same issue as well. My moitjo was not good. This place has such amazing potential, they need to really work on improving consistency and better service
