We visited on a Saturday afternoon. The service staff were invisible and not very friendly. So many flies in the sitting area! Food was good but cold. I cant recommend this place.

So stunned with how amazing the food is. Boyfriend dislikes mutton, but decided to order the Kebab Chutney Curry, he cant stop talking about how incredible it was and how it is one of the best dishes he has ever tasted. Wow wow wow.

This service is the best I have ever seen. The taste of the bunny, I can not describe. The staff are very helpful and friendly and I love the old lady because she is kind she is always helpful. The restaurant is beautiful and have many creative advertisement and pictures. The cooking Divas is now my favorite for many years to come

Found this place by chance on a weekend. Had a good lamb buuny. Wife enjoyed the beans curry. Samosas also nice. Clean and good service.

Well actually come to think of it.. It is a rip off.And they took more than an hour too prepare the food.. Wonder what they did for an hour.

Authentic Durban home curries, that taste home cooked and fresh.Its dissapointing that most items on the menu are out of stock or sold out. The reason management gives for this is that they make all their dishes fresh daily and do not freeze. They need better planning and will lose many customers this way.I have stopped going there due to almost nothing being available by the evening.

A little gem nestled in the heart of Edenvale. Walking into the little restaurant, one is reminded of walking into a friends house when their mother was cooking. 🥘The decor is quite reminiscent of your friends house as well - feels like you are going to look over and see the uncles playing Thunee ♦️ with their Mainstay 🥃and bites next to them.The food is great - arguably the best bunny that I have had in Joburg so far. I was transported back to my moms kitchen when that redolent aroma from my lamb bunny🍞 tickled my nostrils.The gravy soaked the bread till the last centimeter. The center was filled to the top with succulent lamb 🍖, with the occasional piece of soft potato interspersed between them. It was delicious to the last piece.My wife had the kebab chutney with roti. And even though she is very fussy, she wiped the bowl with the last piece of the roti. The kebabs were spicy, with lots of greens and nicely browned on the outside. The chutney was chilli with just the right amount of tartness. 👌To round up the trifecta of homely goodness, the owners treat you like family. Visiting the Cooking Divas is like walking into your home🏡 back in Durban and having a good home cooked meal.Bravo!
