If you want to bring your kids to this library, dont waste your time here. Kids are not allowed even after I phoned and asked if we could come and was told to make an appointment, which I did expressly stating Im bringing my small child to the library (an appointment to go to the library!? Since when?!) , I arrived with my 4 year old and 5 month old only to be told by the same Dikeledi I spoke to 30 mins before that they dont allow children in the library. How utterly RIDICULOUS and what double standards. Very sad about this experience on so many levels. Not sure how the people that work there justify their salaries...

Friendly staff. Nice quiet place to study

I study most Saturdays there, a very quiet atmosphere, a great selection of books! Also loads of space with tables and chairs WITH plug points makes it easier to study.

I spend most of my time in the childrens section with my young kids. We absolutely love it here! The librarians are pleasant and helpful and the library is well laid out. They have an extremely well-chosen and plentiful selection of really good books. When I do visit the adult section, I find the librarians courteous and helpful, and there is also an impressive selection of books. Well done!

What kind of library without Wi-Fi? Very disappointing

HiI have just recently joined this library as I am new to the area. I went back today between 12-12:20pm to hand back the audio books. I had forgotten that we are not allowed to ask for an extension as I had not finished with the Ruth Rendall set of disks. I had finished with my other set that I took out. When I asked if I could take out the one set the librarian on duty said as she was slapping her hand down on the audio book. No maam you.may.not. take. it. out. again. 4 weeks. is. all. you. can.have. it.for. Instead of just saying with a smile on her face I am sorry maam but as you may have forgotten, you would have been told when you signed on that we only sign these out for 4 weeks but perhaps you would like another different set? or maybe get it out again at another time. I am feeling down already and now feel really sad and feel like an idiot.

Lovely setup. Ample plug points for laptops during study sessions. Bathrooms not neat and clean though although minimal traffic therein.

Lots of wonderful books. Friendly staff in the childrens section are always helpful and knowledgeable.

Staff are rude and have no understanding that toddlers dont come with volume control. Cancelled my whole families member 10mins after receiving it.
