Good coffee and waffles. Just be warned, if you order a “stacked” waffle you aren’t getting more than one waffle, but a single waffle that’s been cut in half and stacked. Quite sneaky.

This has been a favourite of mine for a while. After a change of ownership the coffee has definitely gone down. Please bring back the old coffee brand! The kitchen is still the same and the food is stellar and well priced.

Great stop for a cup of coffee. They serve their own in-house blend. The menu has a decent selection of meals, though the prices are higher than similar places on some items.Update: having a Creamsoda Float here and though they serve a decent size glass it feels like they are skimping on the ice cream. Ill leave the rating at 3✴️

Absolutely wonderful. Service was amazing. My daughter just got married and they brought us cake and champagne glasses for our toasts. Such friendly staff. The food was delicious too.

I was quite shocked when I realized that the restaurant had changed ownership and name. I really dont like the name!Menu is exactly the same as it was but I requested 3 items on the menu and each time was informed that the item was no longer available. This is quite unacceptable as why is a menu available if the item is not. It really doesnt cost much to reprint a menu.

This has got to be my favourite coffee shop that is close to home. I like to sit have breakfast and read a book here. There food is to die for and the service is extraordinarily good. The waffles and hand made burgers really make this place unique.

Service is usually get, but they last visit to a bit long. Cozy but good. The toasted chicken curry is bucket list. Waffle and ice cream, 3 cup coffee special, chicken salad are all hits.A good place for the snack as well as for a morning breakfast.A quiet place to sit and do work during the day.

Rough start. Some drinks were not available on the menu. But turned out to be a nice experience. Atmosphere was good. Staff was friendly. Coffee art beautiful. Food delicious.

This is one of our favourite places for a breakfast treat. I love the savoury waffles and the Italian hot chocolate. Its a very comfortable place and we usually feel well taken care of by the staff. The pasta is also great. Thank you :)

Used to love this place for its decor and ambience. Took my Mom there. The place is run down and horrible. The waitress was friendly tho and the food not too bad. But my Mom thought I was having her on when we walked inside. No ceiling or products on the shelves like before (delish pesto) and generally grubby and shabby. Hope it picks up soon.

The waffles are normally incredibly - in the 10 plus years I gave been going there, today was the first time it wasnt great.Staff were attentive, friendly and took great care of us.Parking can be a little problematic, but only when the schools close in the afternoons or on Sundays due to church

Waffles were good. Service was good. The surroundings look very grubby. He extended the place and it appears to have been done on the cheap. It was extremely hot inside and there are no windows to open. Hopefully he sees this post and takes notice to spruce things up.

We always pop in every now and then because we know the service, the food and the owners are just wonderful. Where else in JHB do you get welcomed with a huge smile as if youre family by owners and staff alike. And the waffles...well lets just say every mouthful is a taste of heaven!!! A trendy but warm busy blend of young and old alike where conversation flows as fast as the coffee!

Waffles were delicious - we had a curry waffle and a banana split waffle. We were there on a Saturday for lunch. The service was a bit slow. Otherwise, had a good experience. Staff were friendly.

They have The BEST waffles in the world. They are pricey and service is slow, but that only means it is GOOD and sooooo worth it! Definitely try them.
