I was a student in Q3 2021 and would highly recommend Lucia’s level 1 course. Her passion for teaching shines through and this really allows her to bring the course material to life. It also makes the course unbelievably good value for money, and very interesting to attend. If you apply yourself, you will find the level 1 course to be an excellent foundation for further Mandarin learning.

No doubt that I would recommend this course for anybody who is keen to make a start to learn to speak Mandarin.Its good value for money and Teacher Lucia is very knowledge-able (on more than just the language itself) but also Teacher Lucia is a good teacher....no doubt that you will have to do your part (and this is what I appreciated the most) that Teacher Lucia really wants you to learn! So, there is some homework and re-enforcement of the previous weeks learning via exercises and questions.Definitely takes you out of your comfort zone (in small steps, of course :-)) but you feel like you have achieved something on completion. Lucia Hau-Yoon is an excellent teacher with a very efficient method of teaching and teaching material. You will definitely learn a lot here and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn how to speak Chinese!
