I can understand that business is slow so maintenance may be an issue but this place is simply filthy and there is no excuse for that. The entire experience was horrible and sad as you can see in past days this was a lovely place. There is no breakfast offered so even the advert is misleading. Wild horses would not drag me back.

What a wonderful place! We stayed at the White House self-catering presidential unit and the view out of our window was just breathtaking! Our children enjoyed the swimming pool so much. The service was excellent - we didn’t expect to get free soap and shampoo, normally at self-catering units it’s not provided, so we were grateful for the pleasant bonus! If you are visiting East London or are driving past and need a stay for a night - this is the place. We will definitely be back at the White Houses again!

Location excellent very clean place with nice rooms.

Ive stayed here many times and love it. Unfortunately the place needs some tlc as lots of things do not work or open.

Very Nice place to stay with kids

We specifically booked a self catering unit, which we didn’t receive. On check in, the two rooms we booked were filthy, the one room had pubic hair in the shower, the curtains were disgusting, and the bedside table had detached itself from the headboard. When we approached management, she simply shrugged her shoulders and said the rooms had been cleaned the day before. From then on she just ignored us, we greeted her each morning but she couldn’t bring herself to make eye contact and just ignored us. We had to buy our own cleaning materials. No COVID protocols were followed at all, despite us asking that the staff wear masks.Such a pity, as the location is absolutely stunning, the White House is terribly run down and neglected.

Not clean at all. Pubic hair in the shower. Curtains falling apart. Cupboards falling apart. Staff don’t adhere to proper CoVid protocols, I should have just stayed at home. You would think people would do all they can to keep business especially since the hospitality industry is suffering. Maybe it was great before, however it had definitely been run-down. Only thing it has going for it is the view. Im definitely not planning on coming back.

Beautiful breath taking sea view and breeze from your room 😎definitely coming back. The only thing that managed should consider is having bar fridges in the rooms as as we struggled to store our drinks and food and not allowed to use the one in the kitchen.

Awful and dangerous. They dont care about any covid protocols. The cleaner work without any PPE or sanitation. The place is run down and falling apart. The window fell out when I tried to open it. Dirty linen . I paid for two nights and checked out after one. Horrible. This place should be shut down. I have report then to the dpt of tourism for non compliance with covid regulations.

Great ocean views but sadly no air conditioners. In a sweltering 38 degrees you get very little sleep

Dirty, roach infested and no hot water. Owners have given up. Will not return. Regretted prepaying for our stay. 2 days there was too much.

The place is beautiful. However, it is over run with cockroaches. The room cleaning staff didnt change the bedspread nor pillowcase even after telling them that it was smelling.If the management takes care to keep the place clean, it will be a great place to stay.

Room has been comfortable, breakfast has been good. Room cleaned while we out so never disturbed, dont hear people in neibouring rooms. View is awesome.Staff are friendly.

We were relocated from selfcatering to a room because of floods. We accepted the new offer to relocate, but promises made and discount promised never realised. We have all email to prove our comment. We understood the situation of flooding, but dont harm your integrity to promise something and then do not action your pronises.

I had a very relaxed stay here...everything was best and clean with friendly staff....!!!!

Beautiful views and friendly staff but during my stay the other guests were loud and disruptive, smoking outside the rooms so that my room reeked of cigarettes, the towels were stained and food I had placed in my room fridge was taken.
