My partner and I are preparing for an expedition to northern Namibia in a single vehicle. I live on the KZN south coast and spent many hours searching online for chain and grab hooks that were certified/rated for weight loading (hopefully they wont be needed but their possible use is for vehicle recovery by hand winching using a Hi-lift Jack) without success. Eventually I clicked on the advert for Anchor industries and browsed through some catalogues. They seemed to have what I wanted so I phoned and confirmed that they allowed over the counter sales.The following day I drove through and even though the area is industrial and the premises did not look as if one could walk in and buy something over the counter, I had found the perfect place. The people were very friendly, the service exemplary and I came away with what I wanted at a very reasonable price (my price comparisons were from Amazon and I expected to pay more). Thank you!
