After being told they dont have a part time option for the CELTA , I was convinced to sign up for the full time course, which I wasnt able to cope with as I have other duties too, nonetheless at the interview all went well, and I think they just wanted to fill up spaces because clearly I wasnt able to cope with the assignments and I should have been told more clearly at the interview about whats expected. So I ended up wasting over R17000 for this useless course

I completed my CELTA at the Durban Language Centre (DLC) early in 2020. I found the training to be professional, effective and rigorous - as expected of a legitimate CELTA course. I recommend it for anyone who wants to do a CELTA, and to any non-native speakers who need English language training.

It was an amazing experience at DLC, I have learnt alot from carla and Jane, they are down to earth individuals that are always willing to teach and help in any way possible. DLC staff and educators are incredible people to engage and work with.

The Celta course was really intensive, but my tutors Carla and George were very helpful and guided us through. All classmates became good friends and we were sad to leave when we completed the course. I highly recommend the Durban Language Centre for anyone interested in doing the Celta course and would like to teach abroad. Its well worth it. Also, courses are offered to those who would like to learn English as a second language.

I have completed a rigorous and practical training to teach English as a foreign language. And DLC executes the CELTA course professionally and to standard. I recommend them.

DLC is a really good environment to learn or teach. We learned so much from George and Carla during our CELTA course. They taught us so much and encouraged and pushed us to be better teachers.

Nothing interesting.Teachers just read the book. They dont teach! If u ask, they need a dic or google the info. !I learnt outside the centre more than the centre itself. The owner was so rude.
