The staff are so friendly and kind. The service was amazing. The room , although a bit small, very classy. Personally found the shower and toilet set up less than ideal, but overall good experience!

Not at all a 4 star hotel as advertised on the internet. The staff first of all is not so friendly, its as though they are told not to speak to people 🤷‍♀️Room access cards were constantly not working, on the elevators to take us to our room. Had to go back to reception on 2 occasionsMenu at restaurant is limited. We asked for more options for restaurants that were halaal friendly around but they referred us to as far as Berea. And did not mention the Nandos and Ocean Basket that is right at their entertainment area.We asked for an extra blanket, they told us , coldly, they had none.A 4 star hotel????!! I feel I did not get my moneys worth and have went to 3 star hotels that offered much better service. Highly disappointed, from all the way in Gauteng.

Its just simply an amazing place. I stayed at the hotel. Absolutely beautiful. I had a sea facing room. Guys if u havnt seen the view of Durban coastline. Do yourself a favor and look at it from the top. You will think u are in another country.

I rated the Suncoast Hotel 4 stars. The place is gorgeous, and the food is delicious. The room I was staying in was great, but it was a bit small for a 5 member family. The service was also a bit off, it took almost an hour to get drinks. Otherwise this was a great place to stay in.

The place is good. The room decorations are lovely.For a family with children I am not convinced that its the best location, however for us it worked out well as we have teens who love to play in the Arcade.I would prefer a more generous breakfast.

The standard rooms are very small and the bath shower, toilet and basin is open plan, smaller than overnight easy stays. Weirdest design Ive ever seen in a Tsogo Sun Hotel.

Service at this hotel has really deteriorated. Mugs in the room were dirty, asked reception to charge my phone and was told it is not allowed yet the previous day I saw a guest collect his phone from reception. We stayed from Wednesday to Sunday and were only provided with 2 tiny bottles of water on the 1st day. The restaurant food quality has also gone downhill with terrible sausages at breakfast and the lamb burger off the room service menu is also terrible. The casino itself has zero social distancing in the food court. I will not be returning.

Had a surprise bday party for my cuz at Jeera. Absolutely delicious food and brilliant atmosphere at this restaurant. All of us enjoyed it.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel, beautiful posh rooms, great breakfast selection and lovely views. Very convenient since youve got a great selection of restaurants and movies right there!One of the downsides I found was that their air conditioner doesnt go higher than 25 degrees, so bot too ideal for colder days.

We had a bad experience, as we ordered for chicken tikka from the main course, to have as starters, but ended up being served with baby chicken, with no notification, which was confirmed by the waitress, and finally we ordered for lamb on bones bunny, which was served absolutely cold, and we had to return some of the bunnies for reheating, and then discovered that one of the bunnies had a bread plastic in it.This is disgusting from a 4 star restaurant, which we will post on social media, that is Facebook, and this was explained to the Supervisor who apologized, which really does not help. Does not deserve any rating.

Casino hotel, but they dont even provide you with casino access card when check in. If you want to go casino, you must line up 500 m for casino loyalty card. Staying in the hotel does not give you no additional privileges then day pasers.

Ive been to this hotel a few times now and never had an unpleasant stay. The rooms are on the small side but clean and the bed is super comfortable. The staff smile and greet you whenever you bump into them around the hotel. The Hotel itself is central with easy access to the beach and casino/ mall area next door. The breakfast buffet has a great selection and things flowed smoothly even when busy. Will be back and I recommend if you are looking for somewhere central to stay.

Well situated near the Durban beaches. Caters for small to luxury apartments. There is a good restaurant. Lovely pool area. Restrooms ample parking and good security. The interior is well decorated and chic.

Not a great hotel. No lotion, nor shampoo in rooms. Rooms are basic. The only great thing about the hotel is the friendly house keeping staff, that always greet with a smile. Definitely wouldnt go back. Most B&Bs offer better value and service.

Truly delicious food with great service. Even although my old memories Durban are of eating Indian curry and Bunny Chows, either at the side of the road directly on a pavement on Grey Street or at the Blue Lagoon. Suncoast Towers has the feel and look of a truly elegant dining experience with the taste of true authentic Durban Indian food

Efficient, simple hotel. Staff are helpful. Rooms are small but you wont be in them as theres so much to do downstairs. Glass between baths and beds is a little different but cool if youre travelling alone or with a spouse. Foods always good. Service is impeccable.

The hotel boasts beautiful scenery of the ocean. I love the fact that you can literally walk to the sea anytime you want as it is so close. The buffet breakfast is phenomenal and the staff is so friendly.

Amazing stay. Rooms were in tiptop shape and serviced well. Breakfast was beyond expectation, wait staff very attentive, and the variety was awesome. Well maintained gardens and pool area. The Spa was an experience that must definitely be revisited

Nice for a quick stay. Rooms are clean and modern, if a little small. I kept tripping over my shoes and bags as there wasnt much space. Reception staff were truly wonderful. Views from the upper floors (and elevators) are spectacular. Breakfast was acceptable but the restaurant staff and coffee were not. Initially, I wasnt so keen on staying at the casino hotel but I will definitely return. For a hotel on the seafront this is really good value for money!

Delicious food at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Awesome bunny chow for lunch - Indian food done very well. Customer service from all staff (reception, front-house, cleaning staff, waiters and hospitality staff was top-notch). Location is really good and a stones throw from the beach and restaurants within the Sun complex.

Very corporate vibes. Neat, small rooms. Characterless, soulless rooms. Not for holiday or God forbid, romance. Great location for people on business though. Literally a place to lay your head down after a hard day doing business and charging one too many drinks to the company credit at the very fancy hotel bar. Bar is definitely fancy.

Shirty service after hours

Middle of the road chain hotel. Located on the beach front with miles of beaches, bars and other restaurants. It is right next to a casino but it does not spill over to the hotel. Staff are great.

Quit a pleasent experience. Received so well and staff was helpful to put my in no smoking room. View is great. Food also super.

We have stayed many many times at suncoast and other Tsogo sun hotels ..This time the hotel room was very poor ....the toilet leaked there was a stale smell . We wanted to watch soccer tv didnt work after calling maintenance it worked only to be told that channel is unavailable . Terrible

Friendly and efficient service. I booked my parents into the paraplegic room and everything was up to standard. From the check in to the checkout, everything was on point . The delicious breakfast buffet at Jeera topped off the holiday.Only one suggestion, due to the renovations taking place , at least one escalator or lift should be in working order to access the casino floor ,especially for disabled guests.

Nice hotel. Clean. Staying here the whole week didnt get bottled water the rooms dont come with small toiletry necessities. Hence not a five star. Otherwise had a good stay. Restaurant is expensive bit good food.

Visited the Jeera restaurant. Theres a ala Carter and selected quick meals options on restricted meals. Options are curries and grills. If you a curry fundi then this place must be on your list to visit. The bunnies are large and limitless gravy. Best bunny ever.

Restaurant Jeera offers every Weekend a Indian Buffet. Wide selection of typical indian dishes. Several starters, main courses and desserts offered. Excellent quality and delicious taste.No reason to rush, all meals will be refilled if empty even 15 min before closing.Waiters are very friendly .Recommendation: if you apply for a casino club card, you will receive a nice discount in the restaurant

Took guests to Jeera. What an awful night of dining. The waitron rude and no knowledge.One vegetarian dish on menu. We ordered. Message comes sorry...no more spinach left...we could not believe this. Service was horrendous. We asked for the chef who did not bother to come out. Yet on former occasions everything was fabulous.Such a pity. Front line people have to be phenomenal. They steer the ship to perfection.

Pathetic amenities in the room. Should I say no amenities that you would usually find in other hotels. Decor and feel leaves much to be desired. Never again
