I was in Durban for a year and have visited this temple on Saturdays. Since i was from India 🇮🇳. Its a beautiful place of worship of Shri Radha rani and Krishna parmathma. I like this place. Hare Krishna 🙏 Hare Krishna

A Wonderful Hare Krishna Temple.If you get the chance you must visit.Programmes start at around 4:30am in the morning and run through to 9pm.There is a restaurant which serves spiritual food although to be honest, too much chili for me.There are beautiful grounds around the temple and this temple is surrounded by a moat.There is a guarded carpark.

I have not gone there.But this place is one of the best place in the world.Hare Krishna

A visit to the temple is very uplifting

Restaurant closed in the evenings but Food for Life handing out food hampers at the entrance. Food is always of the highest standards, made with the best of ingredients and very tasty. The Satsangh was in progress with limited numbers allowed to enter. Could not enter but could experience the strong spiritual vibrations from outside. Highly recommended.

Spiritually uplifting, just what Lord Krishna ordered during Lockdown! Walkthrough darshan and a pop up Govindas with a limited menu in the parking lot.

Mesmerizing, beautiful, captivating and enchanting, - words alone cannot do justice to the sublime feeling of serenity one experiences upon entering the temple grounds. The devotees and temple keepers present are some of the nicest, most helpful, patient and insightful people you will ever come across, the most fascinating of feasts for the eyes may be witnessed when the devotees chant, sing and dance to the Hare Krishna Maha mantra, - the kind of pure, true happiness they exude is absolutely indescribable, - for those who seek to know what true happiness looks like, it most certainly indeed resides within this temple.

Simply out of this world

Peaceful and quiet with most beautiful artwork! It was much smaller than I anticipated but still worth the visit. I would recommend to join one of the scheduled tours in order to have a fuller experience. The cafeteria is a must visit with delicious and very affordable food. Safe parking is available for peace of mind during your visit.

The temple has a restaurant and a gift shop.The restaurant serves vegetarian meals prepared daily. The temple opening time is from 4:30am to 21:00. Govindas restaurants opening time is from 10:30am to 19:00. The gift shop is open from 10:30am to 18:00. The beautiful paintings on the interior of the temple and the multifaceted ceiling is a must see when visiting the Temple. A visit to the restaurant and the gift shop is also a must do activity,

The chatsworth Hare Krishna temple is such a lovely attraction to visit. Unlike se of the other places weve visited in Durban this temple has a authentic mood of traditional culture with a modern South African twist. The temple Architecture is one of a kind that continues to marvel me. The environment around the temple is calming for a nice picnic on the grass and their restaurant serves great fresh meals :) must check it out! :)
