Sir francis fish gelatin is a very good product...apart from being marketed for its many health benefits , which is why i bought it. .. but it also has multi uses.. when i get tired of using it in my coffee, i make jelly. Comes out awesome... Just need to try marshmallows next ...i actually bought it as a health supplement, For my aching joints ... But the fact that it can be dessert to, is a nice touch... Given that too much of sugar isnt great , il try to have it in a more healthier way ...So its been 4 months that iv been using it( feb-may 2021.) , my supply lasted a little longer because i skipped days in between. Its hard to be so consistent.. and i wont lie..i felt like it took long to see any results..well for me anyways.. , everyone is different.. but from my third month i really started to notice a difference... Luckily i bought the 1kg on my first try . Lol. So i had to finish it... Had i gotten the smaller 250g . Sad to say but I probably wouldnt have kept to it...So thank goodness for the bigger choice...My aching elbow which always makes a cracking noise and locks. Which also hurts when its cold, seems to be getting better. Alhumdulillah... Its winter and normally id be keeping it warm and secure with an elbow guard . But Alhumdulillah i dont need it this winter... I really feel a difference.. also i couldnt use any metal jewellery on this hand as it would be cold and irritate my elbow... But now i can wear them... Im trying to think of everything possible , as i would like to give a very honest review . Oh, Iv also noticed a difference on my knees as well...and the fact that it doesnt have any fishy taste. Or smell.. thats a bonus....I havent really thought of the other benefits , as i specifically bought it for my joints..... so havent paid attention to anything else..Anyways just purchased again. So i have another big packet to go through. ... InshaAllah il see more benefits....Thanks to this company, for an AFFORDABLE product, with multi uses, that really helps ease painful joints...I do see they have added another product to their brand.. Fish Collagen.. and it mayb better in the sense, that it doesnt need to be bloomed and dissolved in hot liquids like the gelatin,... it can just be sprinkled as is, on what ever ....And i had a pretty hard decision to make whether i wanted to try the collagen this time. Or the gelatin again.. but the gelatin won me over, i keep thinking of my jelly, i wouldnt be able to make that with collagen .....another bonus is that , the collagen and gelatin have the same nutritional profile, its just that 1 can be used as is , in both hot and cold liquids. and the other needs hot liquids only ...But maybe next time, il give the collagen a try....And another tip i read somewhere, is that gelatin and collagen absorb better if taken in conjunction with vitamin c....So i just got some vitamin c tablets from the pharmacy, And iv been trying that only recently though... but im sure if one has to eat a fruit or drink a juice high in vitamin c , it should work too. ..Forgot to mention, i did have great service.... I emailed the company yesterday, enquiring about stockists near me on the east rand.(the last time i had to travel to jhb.. because i found someone in jhb who stocked it.. but that was my fault, this time i was abit more smart. Lol..after i sent the email yesterday , they responded with a whole list.. and also asked me which area im from so they could get the agent to contact me... The agent messaged me after a couple of hours. and i fetched today.... Quick efficient service. And close to home. .
