As an Indian owned business rest assured of kean pricing but likewise expect that indifferent/cant-give-you-attention response/attitude from the sales staff. Glad the business is there to show just how much the area hardware cons Mica Hardware Kloof, overcharge. Its no wonder Gillitts shelves are full, when Micas are empty. Go figure?

I used to shop at Gillitts Hardware, because they are reasonably priced, and conveniently situated for me. However, the staff are extremely rude, and thank you doesnt seem to be in their vocabulary. I now make a point of NOT buying my hardware from them, and would rather drive a little further, and pay more than deal with them. Management needs to do some serious training in customer service.

The way a particular gent behind the counter talks to and treats customers is atrocious. I observed this happening to someone else, when it was my turn I got pretty much the same treatment. Pathetic. Id rather travel further and pay more before I support these guys!

Good morning. Hardware allways good service and friendly. My concern is the wearing of face masks. Some of the guys at the counter is not wearing face masks but they are wearing face shields. The purpose of facemasks is for you not to spread your spitting particuls, to stop your spit in becoming airborne. The face shield does not stop this. The shop has got a lot of eldery clients, but we are talking about everybody. You could be spreading the virus without you knowing you are sick. So I say if you respect your clients and it is not just about you, you will wear a mask, which by the way is the law. Must wear a facemask in public. Thank you
