I needed a gutter repaced on my factory.As per usual and understandable protocol they required a 50% deposit.Long story short one of the requirements was for me to remove a shade awning so they could get the the said gutter. My Tenant needed to remove bins and cars parked under said awning for me to remove it. This was extremely frustrating for me as my Tenant was not taking my calls and ended up at the last moment asking for the first date to be postponed. Divian was extremely understanding and gave me another date he could fit me in. After 2 days of not being able to get hold of my Tenant to confirm date. I decided to call off the job till the Tenant comes to the party and cooperate. I called Divian and explained my problem to him he was very understanding and said he would refund the deposit. I then told him he could keep it as I would certainly go back to him to do the job eventually. His response was they do not operate that way and he would pay me back the deposit. Within the hour my deposit was refunded.It is so refreshing to deal with such a polite and professional person. I will not hesitate to use Gutter Doctor fpr any future work I need done on any of my properties.

Very disappointed with appalling after-sale service from GutterDoc. Installed a seamless aluminium gutter 12 months ago which collapsed. Tried calling them to rectify the problem, only to be told that the reason for the collapse was due to my existing aluminium gutter which has been in place for the past 5 years. They refused to accept responsibility for their poor workmanship and instead looked for an excuse to be paid an additional sum of money to sort out their problem. Please do not use this company as they do not abide by their guarantee on their workmanship.Update:Pictures and paper trail can provided. Gutter Doc undertook seamless aluminium gutter installations at my business property in Umbilo Durban.I contacted Devan last year (2019) and requested a quotation as the building was still under renovations. He met me on site (I have to commend his punctuality) and we discussed the installation process. Upon completion off the meeting, his offices sent the quotation with 24hrs of the meeting (something which is extremely rare in the construction field). Devan did express that he would advise that should his quote meet our approval, i only contact him after construction is complete....Gutters are installed at the end stages and having contractors on site after installation might damage installed gutters (ladders being placed against gutters, contractors walking on roof and placing weight or throwing derbis into Gutters....all of which made sense and which i greatly appreciated.) Once construction was completed, i contacted Gutter Doc and informed them off our readiness. I read the T&Cs which are on their website and which all their quotes and invoices urge clients to do and duly paid the 50% deposit.Devan then provided me with an installation date and his team arrived on the day set aside (there were no issues, maybes or buts). His team installed within the day (as i was promised) and they installed with professionalism and ease. The Gutter Doc site foreman did a walk through with me to ensure i was pleased after installation and I received the invoice the ffg day for payment of the balance due.Gutter Doc holds true to their motto of professional and honest business practices and I will strongly recommend Devan and the Gutter Doc team. In construction it is rare to find a company that treats its clients the way they would like to be treated as consumers....
