Relatively good vegetables at fair prices. A fair variety is available here. The stars of the shop are the tellers. Beautiful ladies that give friendly service with a chat, the know their customers and look after little details when they can.

Hi, if you asked me before for my top 5 places to shop, Food Lovers would have been in my top 3. Sadly not anymore, its frustrating to see what we see in the shop, is totally different in quality, to your adverts. Ive had too many experiences recently. To name the last 2 experiences, the can of Chai tea that hubby bought had an expiry date of July 2021 if I remember correctly and it tasted foul. Last night i opened this tray of avos and as soon as i flipped them over, 2 were disgusting and yellowing, one was dented and one was blackening. Beauty is on the eye of the beholder, alas it was very deceptive and totally unacceptable. Do you pack your fruit or is it packed by your supplier? Please look into this. Be true to your customer and supply them exactly what you advertise or dont advertise at all.

Parking not a problem, they have so many specials and the fruit and veggies are fresh. The bakery section looks so delicious and the chocolate brownies are wonderful

I like the range of fruit they have certain seasons but the quality of some things arent too good. Some staff are friendly and some have an attitude like you owe them something. The owners only smile at white people when greeting but they more than happy to take your money.

Well laid out, had everything I needed and no queues at the tills. Ten out of ten!

The quality of the vegetables good .The lady serving the bread area needs to get her customer skills sorted. The prices were keen on stuff bought.

Major confusion with all their card machines not working for FNB cards. Cashiers confused unable to assist. This was extremely disappointing... hopping from cashier to cashier trying my card. There was no sense of customer service. The attitude of all the cashiers was it is what it is... I then had to unpack all my groceries and leave the store as no solution was provided and the staff were the least apologetic. 0/10 horrible experience.

A good stop point off the M19, in time to pick out fresh veg. A clean store, easy to navigate isles and a decent bakery. Its a place where Zulu pumpkins are abundant and the staff are helpful.

There was a young man there doing the packing who was friendly, chatty and helpful (the cashier should take note) which I found to be astonishing - Im not used to getting such friendly service.I was pleased to find a fairly extensive range of sugar free nougat.

Not impressed. Check the rolled meat (could see a green colour in the pack) pricing is average to high.

I popped back with some chicken that wasnt at its best when I bought it this morning - YOUR BUTCHER IS AMAZING!!!!! He apologised profusely and assured me that you have changed suppliers as this is not the only problem youve had. He offered me the opportunity to have some fresh chicken that arrived today, or exchange my purchase for something else. I chose chicken again and was blessed with a larger quantity than I had originally bought. He even exchanged my paper bag for a vinyl one!! What an amazing experience, thank you ever so much for your exceptional service Mr Butcher!!!! You have assured yourself a loyal customer! :)

Was the first time visiting Your shop was looking for Vegetable Combo everything was good and fresh but got disappointed about the size of onion 3kg. If possible can you make a choice of 3kg or 7kg but everything was on top .Keep it up

I love the shop, its nice and clean and the service is always friendly..Only comment from improvement is to make sure your butchery staff wear their masks.....today was the 2nd time when i got there and the one guys was not wearing his mask....i know we cook the meant befire we eat it, but you also work there with open hanging biltong and drywors, spices and marinades.Please address this and train your staff re the importance of wearing masks etc.....someone is going to get ill and or someone is going to expose your business noncompliance to the media......Take action or bear consequences like Nandos

What an amazing venue. When we are in the area we always stop there. The vast variety of produce that they stock are always fresh and crisp. And it is always a pleasure to go there as they have everything.We also had the bunny chow special at the restaurant which is simplistically set. Nothing fancy which is why this place is such a secret.The next time I am in the area I am definitely making a stop there again. Thank you to everyone that really makes the effort to give us the best of everything.

Stuff is good but there is a short abit dark Indian lady thats so arrogant and does know how to talk to customers very abrupt shes a cashier bangs the stuff on the cash desk. I told her to stop doing that she said me if I dont want the stuff I must just leave it and go. (shes short abit dark with a pony tail) she doesnt use glasses.

One lovely place where you shop with a peace of mind with a variety of very fresh succulent vegetable and fruits and a variety of grocwry items at reasonable prices. The bakery is superb and the butchery with fresh meats and expert advice from the butchery. You wont be wasting your time visiting them. I love the place

The fruit and veg looked like it had been on the shelves for quite some time especially the mangoes, I bought a packet of pecan nuts and it has full cob webs like things inside the packet. I still have my slip, I might take it back. This is the worst food lovers Ive ever been to or seen.

I go here reasonably often. I appreciate the good specials (Red and yellow peppers for R29/kg), the great combos and the wide variety of fruit and veg. Their 1l cream has also been the cheapest I could find and their in house brand cheese is also reasonably priced.
