Amazing food court with a great variety of good restaurants to choose from. I went to Kofu , an amazing Japanese bar were they literally cook the food right in front of you.

Great Vibe within a collection of mini Super Restaurants.Friendly staff super dining experience, ample parking managed so professionally by Andtew and his very capable team. A definite must visit when in Etekweni.

The atmosphere at The Food Box is very vibrant. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is absolutely delicious and with such a wide variety to choose from, there is something for everyone. The prices are reasonable. They follow covid19 protocol, temperature is checked upon arrival then recorded and hands sanitized. It is a safe place to relax. Safe undercover parking and there is a security guard in the parking area. It is also well lit. The bathroom facilities are clean and very neat.

I would definitely give it 5 stars because we loved it here but my oh my the elderly lady working at Kung Tai was absolutely rude we had to cancel our order there and order elsewhere but im glad we the food at the order spots was devine.

Kids loved the waffle on a stick from Ms Waffles. This is their new favorite treat. The Rolling Pin pizza was a hit as well. One of the best thin crusted pizzas around.

Cool, trendy spot for a casual meal. Great choice of food pods, excellent food, fantastic service and good music. Will be back to try more delights.

Wow the atmosphere and smell in the air is really something different on a Friday afternoon, especially if you were caught up with work the whole week🙈a must-try is the Butter Chicken Pizza🤤and dont forget about the Tofu😁word of advice though... Dont have a decadent meal that fills you nicely and then decide to indulge in a super sweet waffle because you end up like a stuffed and overflowing mutton curry pie😬🤣the best in my area so far

Really good food a number of vegetarian options and non-alcoholic beverages. Though the seats arent very comfortable.The Veg bao buns, not listed on the menu at Salted, were an absolute treat.The Rolling pin was actually out of stock of garlic bread and other items on the menu

The vibe here is rather cold. The bar is small and when busy, youre going to wait. The sushi wasnt great however they do have a sit down experience with the chef preparing the Japanese dishes right in front of you. There are a variety of restaurants and options for snacks.This is a non-smoking area.

Try kofu at foodbox amazing Japanese cuisine. Nice atmosphere with variety off food places. Highly recommended.

What a vibe this place has! Using the idea of a food court, The Food Box allows you to order and pay for food from a variety of different mini-restaurants. That means each member of your party can choose a different cuisine and still eat together. Its all there: burgers, ribs, pizza, Japanese, Thai, Indian, waffles, and a cocktail bar.I ordered the mild chicken strips and chips on promotion at SALT and they were delicious. Not too spicy, not at all hard, but still crunchy. The soft-shell crab burger is something Ive never seen before -- an entire battered crab on a burger! If you want chips on the side, ensure you order them separately because they are not included with the burger.Parking is secure and under cover. Even on a Sunday night, there were plenty of people and we had a memorable visit.

Its a really nice grouping of restaurants but unfortunately there always seems to be some form of construction going on so even if you want to enjoy your meal you have to deal with a never ending din of jack hammers or angle grinders. Both day and night. A great pity.

Very cool idea to create a food hub where one has the choice of food they would like to eat. Nice vibe with a good atmosphere. We had the soft shell crab burger from salt which was very good.

I never knew this place!😭 Take anyone there, they will find a meal they will love! Matter of fact take you can even have a meeting there. I think it would make a really good productive space.

Great place sure to find good food. Dined at Lady Tiffin a few times now. They have always served great food thats well prepared and presented. Atmosphere at the Food Box is very inviting and warm. Strict control on mask and safety protocols are in place as you enter.

SALT.Naming your restaurant after a seasoning and finding out my chicken had ABSOLUTELY none was really disappointing... Adding salt to the wound, chips were cold and stiff by the time I got it.Well atleast the irony was filling...

What an awesome idea. Vibrant, funky place where everyone is able to get what they feel like without compromising on quality. My Butter Chicken Pide was delicious (Warning: the Gin cocktails with chilli are a bit heavy on the spicy factor) Definitely want to go back and try more options.

An establishment that has variety of fast food and dessert and a seating area almost like a food court. If looking for a relaxed afternoon, this is a good place to chill with family and friends.

Brilliant chill out place. Very friendly staff. The manager took the time out to explain the variety of different pods and still checked up on us during the evening. The DJ very entertaining, very cool vibes. Will be back more.

This place has an upgraded food court vibe. Similar to the mojo market in cape town. The waffle was delicious and decadent. The rest rooms were clean and so were the tables and seating area. Ample parking available too. Great concept!

Great concept. However my first visit was not what I expected or what was hyped up to be. First I ordered a meal that after 45mins I was told that my order was not prepared due to other meals of larger try being prioritised...second order was incomplete. Ordered chicken Alfredo but was served Alfredo with no chicken. Sadly not a place I would visit again.

The Rolling pin has delicious pastas and pizzas.. For the price, they have very generous and fresh toppings.. Well worth the 25minute wait as everthing is prepared from scratch.. 👌🏽🍕🍝

Kung Thai was amazing as usual. The Bao buns from Salt was a decent interpretation.

Great experience at tappenyaki at kofu. Chef was well trained and friendly. Food was tasty. Prawn and calamri fried rice was seasoned with soy sauce, garlic, chilli and lots of butter.

I visited The Foodbox with family and friends. It was a fantastic experience! We ordered from Kung Thai, whose service was excellent, and their food was phenomenal. For those who miss Kai Thai, head straight to Kung Thai! We had waffle sticks from Ms. Waffles, which were out-of-this-world delicious. My friends ordered cocktails, which looked stunning. I didnt look at the name of the bar though. I cant wait to go back to The Food Box!

Great experience. Lots of options available for every taste. Large variety of options for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. I did not see a lot of options for vegans however. The prices were good too. We sampled a little bit from every store and the food every time was great and did not disappoint. Food was served quickly and tasted fantastically.

Absolutely delicious gin cocktail. Really loved the wings and chilli cheese fries from salt. The sushi and Indian snacks were pretty average. The prawns were under seasones and disappointing for their price .If youre heading to the food box, your first stop should definitely be Salt.

Much of a hype but very pricey for the portion sizes which are of medium to small in size. Long wait at certain outlets. Taste was average at most outlets. Good concept but cannot compare to The Market at Ballito or even Olive Garden in Windermere Rd.

Great ambience and setting for a coffee or a bite

Waited for 55min for 2 pizzas, slow service. Pizza was drenched in a pink sauce wasnt very palatable, not a fan of processed sauces. Noticed no staff sterilized tables or chairs when new patrons came in, our table wasnt sterilized either. We entered in the entrance from the undercover parking, were approached by a manager about 5 minutes after entering and told to go to other entrance to complete a form and get temp check, was a little bit uncomfortable as we felt like we had done something wrong. Should be visible signage at other entrance to go to do sign in, would make it more professional.

A fantastic place. Large and open, but cosy and clean. Good facilities. An amazing central bar, surrounded by a range of delicacy restaurant options. The bartenders are fantastic. Friendly, intelligent and professional. Enjoyed a range of wonderful cocktails, whiskey and perfectly prepared sushi. 👌

The Food Box is a great concept that will take sometime to become popular. We enjoyed our time eating and drinking from a selection of eateries. From some awesome noodles to mouth-watering waffles (on a stick), it did not disappoint. Location and parking might become an issue as they become busier.

Totally enjoyed myself with my friends.Great food variety to chose frm. The vibe is totally nice with a Dj playing deep house.it is also kids friendly. Definitely going back. (Just was not happy with a barking dogs inside)

The food in this place is fantastic and the vibe is lekker also the staff is friendly. Its a place worth checking when one is in Durban.

Decided to try venue out due a friends craving for Wagyu beef. Venue has a few pods that caters for a variety of curries, pizza, smoked meat and ribs, teppanyaki, sushi and a few other delicious surprises; not forgetting decadent waffles. The Wagyu burgers were tried without the cheesy chilli sauce and far exceeded even my expectation. It was accompanied with a craft beer from a pod that serves up craft gin and some of the finest craft beer off tap. The environment was relaxed and kept us around for a few more icy drinks from the bar pod. We even debated trying another meal because the air around us was infused with notes of prawn and curry. We will definitely be back to experience a gourmet meal freshly prepared from one of the other pods. The venue is central, neat and tidy. One small snag is lack of insect catchers to lure flies away from customers when they are eating. Very good value for money!

Food Box Manager is excellent.Very attentive.Food from some of the eateries are fineSadly the brownies from the Waffle place were a very disappointing end. Dry and Sandy is the nicest description. Even fresh cream failed to moisten them. Wont be sampling those again
