Great facilities, doesnt get as busy as Virgin Active & perfectly located! Unfortunately the sanitizer is watered down & there arent enough staff on the floor ensuring people pack their weights away.

Nice gym but I would ask ALL the question and make sure theyre not selling you something you dont need. Im somehow paying family fees and regional membership of R400. Its just me that goes to gym and one gym only. Friends that have signed up are paying between R200-300. Im not sure how that works out.They havent responsed to my query regarding this. So if you want to sign up, make sure there is nothing extra they are slipping into the deal.

I would highly recommend signing up with Fit24gyms. The facilities are superb, well-kept and safe. If you are looking for a fun and reliable gym to work out in at a reasonable price go with Fit24gyms you can’t go wrong!

This is a top class gym, the bathroom is well lit, very clean, and includes hair dryers and straighteners. It has many classes such as yoga, Zumba, Spinning etc. All the equipment works well and people put away their weights after use. The reason for 4 stars is that the classes start too late. Yoga is meant to be done before the sun rises, it would be great if yoga can move to 5:15am.

Absolutely love this gym, friendly staff, wide variety of equipment and classes. Locker rooms / bathrooms are always clean and tidy. Parking is a pleasure. Highly recommend.

In January 2020 , this gym advertised a R399 per month special with *no additional fees.On 27th January I went into the branch and sat between the rep and manager filling out papers, they were busy.I asked if it was month to month or a yearly fee I must pay upfront, and if there are any additional fees. I was told no, only the R120 wellness key. And that I must have R399 ready in my bank by the one rep , by the 1st of the month.At 6.33pm , I was called by the rep and told again to make sure I have R399 and R199 in my account, apparently the R199 was a once off maintenance fee and I was not told about it when I specicifically asked.I also asked about terms as I was leaving after a year overseas and Capetown too.They charged me during lockdown even on months I did not receive a full salary. Or any at all. And was told months would be crrddited..then they said theyd only give 6 extra free months end of the contract.I told the manager my bank details and was told to sign, I never received my copy of my contract and I had to beg on numerous emails and social media. And by then it was too late to cancell in the 48hr cooling period I was not aware of. And told now Id have to pay R5600 at the time to pay 40% of the remaining months to cancell. Despite the fact the gym closed until September.They blocked me off their social media from 3 accounts. And still deduct my money.When I try to complain on hello peter. They tell hello peter that non of my complaints are factual. However I have screenshots and proofs on calls, emails and banksAnd also told a monthly contract was R850This gym is a scam !

The Dbn North branch is excellent. Theyre equipment is of the highest standard that I have ever seen or used. Staff is also friendly and helpful. Secure parking as well. Keep it up guys.

These people are scammers. They tell you about so much stuff that they offer and yet they dont deliver. They taken our money out during the pandemic , the same money can help us during that time. Virgin active a way better gym , did not do this as they maintain a high quality service. Virgin active is way better option than these places

Extremely disappointed on how so many of those exercising and staff are not wearing masks even though their own advertising states to wear a mask at all times during our stay. Other than that, the Gym is well appointed

The single worst business Ive had to deal with for the last few years. Management is unprofessional, and responses take ages if you have any queries or issues. As mentioned by a few others, this gym charged full rates for the months in which it was closed during the pandemic. Its understandable that it was a tough time for many local businesses, but charging for entirely undelivered services seems remarkable. It is made worse by the fact that any request to cancel contracts has been poorly handled for multiple clients.I strongly recommend not supporting this gym, unless you wish to be mishandled.

Great. Friendly staff. However no aircon. Very unsatisfied about that.

Staying fit and healthy has never been more essential than right now. Looking forward to the opening of the Ballito Branch too soon, hopefully. State of the art equipment and technology combined with friendly welcoming staff and knowledgeable PTs available make this my gym of choice.

Majority of the staff are lazy , very few members actually do their job , sanitizer is just bleach , or sanitizer with a lot of water mixed in it , equipment is nice ,but they slack on leg machines

Professionalism and communication from this gym is pathetic. My account became in arrears for 9 months even during lockdown yet no communication from the branch was made to me to notify me of the outstanding payments. Even upon reopening, they refuse to write off the lockdown months. They offer no alternative such as a 3 month or 6 month membership, they only try to force you to sign a 12 month membership. Staff quality is poor, even they dont seem to know how to do their jobs.I do not recommend joining Fit24Gyms at all.

What a useless place, trying to contact them is a mission, i had to say i want to sign up a new contract in order to make contact with the people to get a quote to cancel my account, i paid the full cancellation fee (the balance of the months remaining). and i still get calls saying i owe the gym money. now trying to rectify that, and no one know whats going on. and no one is able to assist. the lady that handles the accounts dont seem to have any idea on how to do her job, and every sales men gives you different quotes and prices. like clowns in a circus. but otherwise a lovely place to get robbed legally.

Been attending fit24 for 2 months now... And service has been good, equipment is always clean and sanitized before and after usage.

The communication skills and help received from the gym was pathetic. I am a student and was still paying for the services of this gym during lockdown and havent received any reimbursement of that payments.My subscription ended in March this year yet somehow it still carried on. I have written a number of emails within the month of March and April and received little to no response. I revisted the gym about 3 weeks ago and explained this to them. The person I was referred to had no customer skills at all. All she said was to write an email (which Ive done before) about canceling my subscription. I did mention that I have done this and her response was that they arent supposed to work during lockdown and emails count as working. So, which meant that my membership got extended without me even giving my acknowledgement to it???

Not enough equipment, not the right equipment

Been trying to reach head office since June, no one from the pmb Athlone circle branch will give the head office number or social media feed has no contact details for head office. With the lockdown taking full fees and still we are unable to use facilities and contact to get information.

Even with the change from gohealth, the Durban north branch maintains a high standard in terms of the equippment, hygiene, members being respectful of the facility and not being disorderly, the staff that are always helpful and friendly

I have been trying to cancel my membership since December 2019. No one responds to my requests. I finally stopped my debit order, which I had to pay for. Fit24 still debited me by changing their reference number. Unprofessional, incompetent, unethical ... the adjectives I have in mind!

I wouldnt recommend this gym to anybody, they debited my account during lockdown and whilst they were closed, the manager a young white girl with no customer service skills and a bad attitude, and now they refuse to refund or credit me whilst I considered signing a new contract, they are a bunch of thieves and mislead ppl, my advice is never to sign up with this brand

Since they have changed from GOHealth, their admin department is useless.I have been trying for weeks to to cancel my membership to no avail.Emails are replied to weeks after or not even at all.There is no direct telephone number either.
