The worst possible experience!Over the course of treatment for laser hair removal I have had 5 different therapists and on my last visit i have 2 large 2nd degree burns and 13 individual 1st degree burns from the laser..

We were on vacation in South Africa and wanted to have some nice beauty treatment before we leave this beautiful country.We looked up the different shops on Google and decided to try out Laser Lipo Global in Ballito. After we found the little bit secret place in the basement of „The Circle“ we got a lengthy and informative consultation by one of the employees. We decided for a „Fire and Ice“ facial. We were also consulted to buy some products and after some research on our own decided to buy them as they were cheaper than in our country. We had to pay the products upfront on the Monday of our consultation so delivery until our departure on Saturday could be assured.The „Fire and Ice“ facial for 950 ZAR did not really met our expectations. The treatment itself was handled properly but to pay 950 ZAR for a 15 min treatment seems a bit overpriced, even if they used high end products for the treatment. However we were satisfied with the end result, our skin felt really smooth afterwards.I have to give some negative remark from a tourists point of view. I was disappointed about the Tax invoice I was given. For whatever reason it did not contain the VAT Registration number so I could not reclaim my VAT when leaving the country. I decided to buy the quite expensive products (Serum and Cream) as I was promised to get a proper Tax Invoice. I can positively mention that the staff tried to sort out things and provide me with the VAT reg number but however I did not receive it until I departed. Not being able to provide me this number seems a bit strange as Laser Lipo had a proper official business character to me. Maybe just the staff, which are probably only experts in beauty treatments which is good like it is and I don’t complain about them here, didn’t know about this in detail. I called them like 3-4 times on the Saturday morning of my departure but the issue sadly could not be solved. I need to note that they called me back and I tried several times to reach them afterwards (it was 12pm) but nobody was picking up. To be honest, I have a different understanding of customer care but also understand that the time to solve the issue was quite limited.Overall I would not recommend Laser Lipo for people from abroad who are only on vacation in the Ballito area. I can’t rate on the service if you are a local resident.
