Well done to the sales staff for the help. They may not always be honest. Check the items before you leave and make sure you have a digital copy of the receipt when making a purchase as they wont accept return even if you show them that you bought from them. There are lots of options. Prices are not bad depending what you want but somehow I couldnt find a fancy LED light that was long for a dinning room. Lots of the outside light that was actually bright. I havent had a good estimation of the ethics of this store. That said you can use them and take steps to protect yourself so please do.

Salesman wasn’t wearing the mask that fully covers the nose and mouth. He reeked of cigarette odor. Not a pleasant shopping experience.

Dont bother calling. The lady who answers doesnt greet. The person they put you through to, to help you just says No I dont know. when asked if they stock dome light cover replacements for fans.

Shop is set up very nicely, they have a wide variety of items, prices are okay, not really cheap.Staff are not helpful, had 2 staff members that walked away from me, ended up going somewhere else to get what I needed because I couldnt find what I needed, not sure if they had it or not.

Cheaters are around us in disguise. This one Electra lighting based on 140,Felix dlamini road, overport, Durban did the same. I bought four G940W halogen lamp on 13/06/20 from them. I found two of them faulty and went back on 20/06/20 to return these. I was very much surprised to hear from them that the faulty ones are not sold by them despite showing them purchase receipt as above. In fact they said its not showing their logo as Flash written on them. My only mistake was not to check what was inside while buying because I was in hurry. Although assured by one of their salesperson that they will replace it in case found faulty. Its one of the way to cheat customer and make money. Eventually they will end up loosing trust and goodwill. From my side best I can do is to give them back as charity so that they can sell it again and again.Cheat customers and keep making money. I recently purchased all of my light fittings from Electra for my new flat. I was assisted by Bilal. Great service and experience by him as his very knowledgeable with all your lighting needs. The stock quantity was a problem but other than that excellent and unique lighting products.

Products have no prices its understandable that installers get a discount but still have prices for the general public

Terrible place,my car was booked into,my whole bag taken with stuff worth R70000 in there,the manager said their cameras were not working, told me to go to their next door company coz their cameras are working, but meantime they do have their cameras on,its a terrible place...I will not advice anyone to go there

I was planning to purchase a light fixture as a gift for my mom. So I can across their website i found a nice item Cf314. How im Looking no pricing! Nothing. OK so i call the store up an I ask a few questions, about how the website works. Turns out you cant get prices on the website you must call or comein. So i ask for item price its near r3000+ that fine but you dont offer delivery neither. I have to make my own plans to pick ect..Im so disappointed why have a website to advertise but you cant cater to customers needs. But u fast for high prices on item and you hide prices on websites. Dont waste your time. They dont care about non walkin customers

From a 5 star rating before, Electra has just dropped down to a 1 star for me. Been trying to contact them via their Whatsapp line, my messages get read but no response is received. I guess they only care about walk in customers. Ive bought from them before but I rather go to the CBD branch now.
