The staff are very friendly! The ladies washing hair were also amazing. The lovely lady that cut my hair communicated with me throughout the whole process, asked me if I would prefer any other changes once she had finished the general cut and made small talk while she was cutting my hair which made me feel very comfortable as I normally get anxious when talking to people I dont know. The people at the front counter were also very helpful, excellent service 😊

I was quite surprised when I booked at this salon to get a hair cut, generally you go to the salon get a hair cut pay and leave and thats about it. But at Pravinas it was something else. You enter the store, confirm your appointment, santize and informed who will be in charge of cutting your hair. I think her name was Tinisha. I was then taken to get my hair washed, so i thought it would be simple quick wash, but its was a wash, a head massage, followed by conditioner another massage head massage plus shoulder massage and neck, rinse off. Taken to cut my hair, the hairdresser was patient and cut my hair to my liking. A quick wash, another head massage, taken back to get my hair blown dry and styled and I was ready for the road. Seriously amazing.. the massage you get with the wash will make you sleep. Then the glitter spray is a must. Also for curls you can buy this nice net to let your curls stay for longer.

Absolutely useless service , booked an appointment but they did not have the correct person to do attend and then the person who should have been the stylist is doing another persons hair.When queried they seemed to have a very dont care attitude, only when I decided to leave then a few people surrounded me and said dont leave we are ready to sort you out. You would expect a jacked up service especially during covid yet even the chair for me to sit on was not clean and I was ushered to sit , I had to ask for the hair on the chair to be removed. Will never bother to try them again and will not recommend them.

I went in without an appointment, had my hair washed and even got my shoulders massaged (bonus!), then a cut and set. My stylist knew exactly what I wanted and delivered. My hair looked great and i felt great.8 months later... Changed my review today. Whilst the service and people are still very kind especially in this Covid-19 era. I have to admit my hair was not something I was very satisfied with. My fault a little I guess for not remembering the previous stylist name.

Sorry we dont do yalls hair I literally have straight hair (chemically), all I wanted was a wash and trim, I use Kreastase on my own hair, so its not even a matter of we dont have products for it. I didnt expect that from such an upmarket area. Yuck.

Pravinas hair is very professional in not only a salon, but also you receive a full head and neck massage for about 20 minutes beforehand. After youve had your hair cut, youre offered any drink you may wish, then after your drink you are taken to have your hair dried which also involves another massage to dry your hair.

Horrible seriously. Pravina cut my hair so wrong I honestly look like a went to a down the street hair salon. And she kept blaming me that Im nervous and what not. Also persuaded me to get the MK treatment and curls to which she would have charged an insane amount of money for. Gotta wait for my hair to grow back and check for a new place. Thanks tho

I visited the Pravinas in Gateway a week ago. After giving birth 3 monthz ago, my husband sent me to treat myself. It was my first time to the branch and O had made an appointment with the receptionist the day before. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a friendly, well dressed lady who immediately recalled that I had called the day before. She took me to a chair. I was introduce to Joanne , the stylist who offered me something to drink. She went ahead to look at my hair and asked what I wanted to do. She then offered to treat my hair and then directed me to the wash basin where I met Phili. After a sleepless night Phili washed and massaged my head and I mught have fallen asleep while she continued. She always checked if everything she did was ok and to my surprise she even gave me a neck massage. If she only knew how much it was needed it. I was then assisted by another lady cant recall her name who continued to blow dry and then back to Joanne for a cut. She was efficient and pleasant. I left Pravinas so relaxed and happy . Thank u to the ladies at Pravina Gateway. U all were phenomenal! I will be back soon.
