Used these guys to do a massive Retaining wall at my place in a small body corporate , Ashlin had been very professional with a vast amount of experience , he had to handle some other elements since its a complex , he handled whatever queries from my neighbours and other contractors in a very professional and ethical way. I myself didnt have to be at the premises at any point. The Wall itself came out spectacular , hence the workmanship is 100% . i recommend ARJ since they are very professional and competitive with their rates with a job well done . I used ARJ construction on two projects, one was a renovation and the other was general maintenance, on both occasions they delivered on a timeous manner and even saved on the budget without compromising quality. Their knowledge, attention to detail and quality of work was exemplary.

I hired ARJ Construction to build a retaining wall for me as per engineers specifications. Ashlin Rooplall, requested a 50% deposit of the total value of the wall (R220 000). He charged me VAT but provided no VAT invoice.The construction occurred during the lockdown period in 2020. No masks were worn by Ashlin or his 7 workers. 3 weeks into the construction, he started to aggressively demand more money claiming the job was more difficult than expected and he under-quoted.Ashlin then left the job and did not return to complete the work. He then started claiming that we gave him Covid and the money was for his medical bills. No proof was provided of the above.I am currently taking this corrupt and dishonest contractor to court. To anyone wishing to deal with this company, be warned that in some way, form or other you will be robbed. Stay away from ARJ. Horrible company.
