Great shop but sometimes they dont have stock on perfumes... Their stuff are quality though and thats what matters most 👌👏....Can youll also have someone allocated to work strictly on perfumes, Ive struggled there since the testers are kept at the cashiers and making it an inconvenience for cashiers (impatient) as well as customers 😀

Conveniently placed at the 1st floor level. Below the cinemas and opposite from H&M. Nest and tidy, wheelchair Friendly. Warm, kind and assisting staff. Everything is placed accordingly and easy to find your way around the store

The store decor is good. And the place seems clean. The people on the floor seem non existent but if you look closer the people who are folding clothes will be able to help you. There are security visible. The store is larger than it seems and during covid regulations one door for entering and one for exit. There does seem to be a fair variety of men and women. Prices are a bit high.

They have some really great clothing and their colognes are the best Ive ever used

I had a shocking customer service experience a few weeks ago at this store. The manager, Verusha, was extremely rude and clearly has no idea about customer service or how to run a store. Upon entering the store and approaching the counter to collect my online order , there was no staff around at all and about 10 people waiting around the counter. You usually have to wait forever when collecting an order but I’ve never seen it like this. Eventually I got the order and had some clothes in my hands to try on whilst balancing my wallet, cellphone and water bottle (I had left my bag with my mother and baby in Starbucks). Verusha handed me my order and could clearly see I had no hands to hold it. So I asked for bag (as the staff usually provide one) and she said “no, we don’t provide bags for online orders”. Clearly seeing that I was struggling to carry everything and I was going to buy more clothes. She continued to be extremely rude to me when I called her out on her behavior. I said I would report her, but it appears there is no number you can call in SA, only an email which I doubt will be even looked at. Perhaps I need to call Spain. The point is I’ve shopped at Zara at multiple locations throughout the world including Tokyo and London and I’ve never experienced this level of poor lack of Zara standard. On another note, I always have to order online as this store never seems to have the items I want, especially the kids stuff, and you are not allowed to take your trolley into this store. You should rather leave it at the door, which would be fine in another country, but as you know SA it isn’t really safe as people steal.

Zara delivery of online purchases is a joke. It is taking them over 10 working days to deliver the order although goods are in stock and I live in the 3rd largest metro in SA. Similar retailers deliver within 3 days to all metros. My advice: dont provide an online delivery service if your supply chain does not have the capability to deliver within a reasonable time frame. The delay is ridiculous in an era of online shopping.

Worst service ever. There is no signage by the fitting rooms to state your partner cant come in, the attendant was incredibly rude when my wife asked me to help her with her purchase decision. You cant come in here. Was so irritated. The front counter staff are apathetic at best, barely look you in the eyes when serving you. Totally pathetic! Sadly the clothing isnt bad but doubt we will be back

Good sale going on currently. Although EXTREMELY short staffed, and even those few staff are not very helpful. Queue build up to pay is crazy with just one cashier. Poor service! And answer yalls bloody phone!!

Worst service I have ever received. I received 2 notifications stating that my order was ready for collection at the Gateway store. I went there twice and neither times could my order be given to me. I spoke to customer service through the app and was told again I could collect at the same store. Now when i phone no one answers the phone in any of the departments, it just dies after 3 minutes on hold. Honestly PATHETIC service. ZARA Gateway sort yourself out please.

Called and called and called, eventually someone answered.I called to enquire about stock availability and spent 15 minutes waiting for the lady to come back to me.In the end I had to hang up and have tried calling back for the past 30 minutes with no answer....Very very very poor service on the phone.Why bother having a line that is never answered or used efficiently.Very disappointed.

Went into Zara today to buy a leather jacket- shockingly rude lady at door, wouldnt allow our trolley in, refused to put it by the door, told us to put it outside in walkway( really safe!). Worst attitude towards customers ever, so not necessary!

The sale prices are always just fabulous and there is nothing better than getting the superb Zara range at half the price. Another thing I love about their sale, is that almost all items in store are on sale.

The queue to pay was totally unacceptable in the midst of a Pandemic. There were staff standing around ordering lunch on their ipads and when I asked why only one till was open I was told that there was only one member of staff that could do that. Poor Management of staff. Should you not want there to be a fast turn around of customers in the store during a Pandemic??

I can just live here because of the clothing option they have. This has been my go to place for everything trendy and affordable, i was impressed at this store, particularly the mens department, their stock is to die for and you are never lost of what to buy cause it just so amazing to get into a store and find something that not everyone may choose to wear even if they can afford it. I am very exclusive when it comes to what i wear and i always pick androgynous items that i know most people would think twice to wear it and this store just presented me with immense options.

Zara Gateway was messy....sale stuff all over the show. Its time to clean up the store and bring in the new range.

Busy sales day today at Zara UMHLANGA and with only one person on the till in the men’s dept. - the queues were exceptionally long.I’d like to find out how other customers would feel if after standing in line for ages and you’re next to pay - a customer comes out of the change room and walks up to her friend who has just finished her transaction and is about to walk off with her purchase believing she can push in because she is friends with the person in the front. According to the manager @ Zara Umhlanga it was acceptable? Imagine if we all felt entitled to push in front?

Poor customer service. Went in to exchange an item on the 30th day and was told they need to log a ticket and to email customer service. Was told response would be given with 3-4 days. Im still waiting 7 days later even after calling the store. Tags on items are different sizes (international) can be confusing to customers.
