Brilliant and beautiful venue at the heart of Durbans CBD. I once lost my car keys at an event there, but otherwise only fond memories of fighting for justice and listening to leaders.

Durban City Hall remains a tourist attraction. Well looked after and a prestigious space for mass gatherings both formalor informal at the foyer. Well positioned in the Durban city centre with ease of access to public transport and a walking distance to popular Durban beach front beaches.

The security oofficials were friendly though not informed. They relied on some invisible person behind their work station. It appears as if the right hand does not really know what the left hand is doing. I sense some incompetence which points directly at poor leadership & ineffeciencies

Durban city hall offers a variety of vital features for any city: a large library, a museum, an art gallery and of course the main hall itself if one is so inclined for hosting of large events. Its open from 8.30am to 5.00pm. Great for families and spending the whole day. The Playhouse Theatre is right across.
