Fast, delicious food served well everytime

Tastiest Chinese food in Durban.Hospitality isnt great though.

My go to Chinese restaurant in Musgrave. The food is delicious. The Peking duck is served with pancakes, hoisin sauce, scallions, cucumber and carrots. The duck meat is juicy and the back skin is crisp and delicious. Another favourite is the grilled pork dumplings. Served with chilli soy sauce, these juicy dumplings are packed with flavour and encased in thin dumping wrappers. The noodle dishes are all made with egg noodles. I recommend the BBQ pork noodle. The BBQ isnt the sauce but rather the style of cooking. In Chinese, its called char-sui and its filled of smokey flavour. A must try if you love Chinese food.

Very good service. Courteous and helpful. Goods well packed. Made fresh too while you wait. Only disappointing thing is that they dont make sushi! I especially chose them because I thought I will get sushi there.

Mei Xin restaurant is a fantastic venue! While the decor is functional and somewhat sparse, the service is friendly and prompt. Most importantly though, the food is excellent. The sweet and sour is possibly one of the best in Durban! Definitely recommend for either take away or a sit down meal

Awesome chicken fried rice and dumplings

Always order the sweet n sour pork and vegetable cashew stir fry. Always fantastic. I see they also have hot pots for sit in diners.

Ive eaten here a couple times. And the Peking duck is my favorite. A definite must. They do an amazing fried whole fish as well. And pretty good dumplings as well. Im sitting in the south coast at the moment craving that duck now!

Excellent food and very well priced. Portions are huge. My favorite place for good quality Chinese food. Highly recommended. Sweet and sour pork is my favourite dish.

Ever since I found this place Ive never went back to two minutes noodles, Lol. Everyone must have noodle they solve your hunger problems.I highly recommend this joint
